Dungeon Layout

Now, you can see the second map after entering through the first door you encounter. Again, you need to find a way to the second door. You gain another modifier while passing through the second door. Gain the Keys
You’re required to get a specific key to enter the dungeon. Each dungeon has its key, so make sure to acquire all three keys. Soulfire Bastion Key, Temporal Sanctum Key, and Lightless Arbor Key are the three different keys for the associated dungeons. The Monolith of Fate and killing other enemies allow you to gain these keys in Last Epoch Season 2. Monolith of Fate is an effective way, as it also grants you other rewards and experience. Make your way to the Monolith of Fate if you need keys and want to collect multiple keys to farm dungeons. Defeating the timeless bosses allows you to gain a dungeon key when you defeat them in battle. Eliminating the Arena of Champions also drops the keys, but this is not the recommended method. As the drop rate of the key is not guaranteed.
Dungeon Key Charms
Use the Dungeon of Key Charm while opening the dungeon in Last Epoch Season 2. These modifiers are used to change the mechanics of the dungeon. Open a shortcut portal by using the Portal Charm to get straight to the boss fight. Using these key Charms only allows you to farm the boss quickly without progressing through the entire dungeon. Make your way to the Maj’elka in the Divine Era to obtain these Charms. Now, trade three dungeon keys for 1 Key Charm. We recommend you use it before entering the dungeon. This is super useful if you want to loot specific boss drops.
Difficulty Settings
The game offers you two distinct methods to enhance the difficulty of the dungeon. You can use the different Tiers or add different modifiers in this case. There are four Tiers in each dungeon that you can choose according to your level or preference. You need to complete a run in the lower Tiers first to unlock the higher Tiers. Having a good gear and level makes it easier to gain Tier 1. However, there is no modifier in Tier 1. The difficulty level increases when you go from Tier 2 to Tier 4. Each Tier offers stronger enemies and better rewards. You can also gain a modifier when you enter the dungeon during Tier 2 to Tier 4. You will receive your first modifier from tier 2 to tier 4 when you make your way through the dungeon. The modifiers will evolve every day. You can also get a second modifier while progressing at the first door and a third modifier at the second door. These are the minor bonuses that can help you clear the areas in the dungeon. Keep in mind that these modifiers also increase the damage output of the enemies, along with their health. Most modifiers allow you to gain multiple rewards and also make the enemies harder.

Gather the souls of enemies inside Soulfire Bastion. This helps you to shield yourself with the Soulfire Shield, protecting you from the incoming damage. You also have the option to swap between Fire protection to Necrotic protection. Trade with the Soul Gambler using the Souls at the end of each dungeon.
Temporal Shift
The two distinct timelines combine at the Temporal Sanctum. Switch between one timeline to another using a Temporal Shift. This allows you to avoid any enemies and obstacles.
