All Mini Games In Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii

With that said, players of the franchise would know that there are always a lot of mini-games in a Yakuza game, and Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii is not an exception. So it might be confusing to newcomers to figure out where to start or what options they have. To remedy that issue, we have put together a guide that will tell you about all of the mini-games in Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii.

Honolulu

We are going to start the list with Honolulu; it is the first region you will get to explore, so we thought it is only fitting that it is also the first location we cover. Here are all of the mini-games you can play in the Honolulu region.

Cray Delivery

Work for Crazy Eats (Image via SEGA)

This mini-game is a little deviation from the Crazy Taxi we have seen before. Crazy Delivery will give you the job of a delivery guy. You will have to traverse through the city with your bicycle while collecting food items along the way and then deliver them to the correct customer. To unlock this mini-game, first, you will need to complete the “Stay Crazy” substory; it will be on the corner of Anaconda Boulevard and Sunset Street, close to the fountain. Additionally, you can play Crazy Delivery in two locations:

  1. Aloha Street, north side of the beach.
  2. Anaconda Boulevard, the same location as the substory.

Anaconda Arcade

We all love an arcade machine (Image via SEGA)

Speaking of Anaconda Boulevard, the next mini-game in our guide is the Anaconda Arcade. If you guessed from the name that the location is the Anaconda Shopping Center, then you are correct. It indeed is on the ground floor of the shopping center, and it contains the arcade machines listed below:

  • UFO Machines
  • Fighting Vipers 2
  • The Ocean Hunter
  • SpikeOut FE
  • Virtua Fighter 3TB (yes, it is a real franchise)
  • Sega Racing Classic: Battle on the Edge
  • Virtua Fighter 3
  • Sega Racing Classic: Power Edition

Dragon Kart

Dragon Kart is a mini-game inspired by Mario Kart, as you might have guessed. You can unlock it by completing the “Dragon Kart in Paradise” substory. It will be south of the Hi Hop Shrimp. Additionally, there are three different modes in Dragon Kart that you can play:

  1. Grand Prix
  2. Time Attacks
  3. Duels

Darts

Get the bullseye (Image via SEGA)

We all are familiar with the game of Darts, so there is not much to explain there. You will be able to locate the Darts Hall if you go towards the east of Aloha Resort; it will be on the northwestern edge of Aloha Beach. You can also buy additional darts from shops if you want to.

Fantasia Mahjong

Only wanted men allowed (Image via SEGA)

This mini-game has a unique requirement for you before you can play it. You must play through the story to the point where you have a bounty on your head in order to enter the Fantasia Mahjong building. The red door of said building will be on the north of Pearl Avenue, towards the edge.

Gambling Hall

Don’t lose all your money (Image via SEGA)

Again, we all are familiar with what gambling is. Majima is a pirate so he can engage in some light-hearted gambling from time to time. However, similar to the previous mini-game we mentioned, you can’t enter the Gamling Hall without a bounty on you. Once you enter the building, you can play two games:

  • Koi Koi
  • Oicho-Kabu

The hall will be in an alley, south of Fuji Street.

Goro Goro Kitchen

Majima Ramsey (Image via SEGA)

Goro Goro Kitchen is a cooking mini-game where Majima gets to be the Gordon Ramsay of the pirate world. The Honolulu location of this objective will be on the south side of the region, in Anaconda Harbor Park. We specified that this is the Honolulu location because the mini-game is also available in other regions. Lastly, you will need to get your own cooking ingredients for this game, which can be bought from shops or found in your surroundings.

Karaoke

Lose yourself in the music (Image via SEGA)

It wouldn’t be a Yakuza game without a Karaoke mini-game somewhere. However, you won’t have to go anywhere to find it, because it is available in the Revolve Bar, which is a core location throughout the game’s story.

Master System Console

Gaming comes first (Image via SEGA)

You can find this mini-game quite easily, just like Karaoke. The Master System Console will be right on the second floor of Revolve Bar. Almost all of the hideouts in Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii will have at least one Master System Console because it does not matter where you are; gaming is the top priority. The available games in the beginning are:

  • Poseidon Wars 3D
  • Alex Kidd In Miracle World
  • Alien Syndrome
  • Penguin Land
  • Fantasy Zone

Open Road Shogi

You will be able to find Open Road Shogi on the open road of Sakura Street, behind the shrine. It is a game similar to chess, but it has its different mechanics and rules. Additionally, you can play these three modes in Open Road Shogi:

  1. Challenge Matches
  2. Ranked Matches
  3. Puzzle Shogi

Ounabara Vocational School

No one likes exams (Image via SEGA)

You will have to start the “The Smartest Pirate Crew” substory in Ounbara Vocational School on Harbor Street to unlock this mini-game. This is one of the more silly ones on the list, but in a fun way. Once you enter the school and talk to Ikari, you will have to pass a couple of exams, and during the final one, you will have to answer every single question correctly to pass.

Pool

Pool is a popular bar game, and we do not think that it needs a separate introduction. You will be able to find this mini-game in Diamond Head, which is located in the western area of Honolulu. There, you can either play normal pool or a 1-shot challenge.

Sicko Snap

Snap Snap (Image via SEGA)

This mini-game is inspired by Pokemon Snap, which is quite obvious. During this mini-game, you will have to take pictures of, well, sickos. You can choose three different trolley routes, and the more pictures you take, the more rewards you will earn. However, to unlock the game, first, you will have to complete the “Snap Those Sickos! Again” substory.

Madlantis

Madlantis is the next region on our list. It has some mini-games that are similar to the previous region, but it also has some exclusives, including the Pirate’s Coliseum. We will list all of the mini-games below.

Arcade

Old School gaming (Image via SEGA)

There are a total of two arcades in the Madlantis region: the Eastern Arcade and the Western Arcade. Fortunately, they are quite close in distance to one another, so you won’t have to work too hard to find them. Both of them will be in the southern region of Madlantis. However, the arcades have multiple options for you to play, which are:

  • Easter Arcade: Virtua Fighter 3TB and UFO Catchers
  • Western Arcade: Only UFO Catchers.

Bang Bang Battling Center

The Bang Bang Battling Center minigame essentially lets you play baseball but with exploding barrels as an added twist. There are a total of four difficulty levels in the Bang Bang mini-game. Lastly, the batting cage will be in the northeastern area of the map.

Casino

Losing money never looked so good (Image via SEGA)

A casino is essentially a place to gamble, which makes it a little similar to the previously mentioned Gambling Hall. But still, it holds its difference from the previous mini-game when it comes to the setting and the games that you can play there. The casino will be on the upper east side of Madlantis. There are two traditional casino games that you can play there:

  • Poker
  • Blackjack

Golf

Gentlemen’s game (Image via SEGA)

This one is pretty self-explanatory; you can play golf during a mini-game in Madlantis and no, it does not have any exploding twists like the baseball arena. You can primarily play two modes in this game:

  • Bingo Challenge
  • Closest to the Pin

The Gold mini-game is located in the circular section of southern Madlantis.

Goro Goro Kitchen

We have already discussed what the Goro Goro Kitchen is earlier in this article, and this one is not an exception. You will still need to bring your own ingredients in order to participate in this cooking mini-game. You will be able to find it in eastern Madlantis, near the Pirate’s Coliseum.

Master System Console

We have yet another Master System Console in Madlantis. It is similar to the one in Revolve Bar, and you will be able to find it in the Pirate Room, in the eastern region of Madlantis inside the tunnel. You can play any Master System game on it, as long as you have acquired it.

Pirate’s Coliseum

The grandest stage of all (Image via SEGA)

The Pirate’s Coliseum is the primary attraction of Madlantis, and you will be able to find it in the southwest of Madlantis. There will be several different modes that you can try, and we will list them below for your convenience:

  • Tournament of Captains
  • Madlantis Mania
  • Quick Slash
  • Swashbuckler Showdown

Royal Casino

No, you won’t find James Bond there (Image via SEGA)

The Royal Casino is basically a fancier version of the casino mentioned earlier. It will be locked in the early game, and you will have to play through the main story of the game to unlock it. You can find it on the second floor of the Luxury Palace Hotel. The following are the games that you can play in the Royal Casino:

  • Blackjack
  • Poker

Rich Island

Rich Island has fewer mini-games than the previous two regions we covered. However, that does not make it boring by any chance, because the developers decided to give Rich Island its own exclusive mini-game named Goro Kingdom to keep things fresh.

Goro Kingdom

Like A Dragon: Pirate Yakuza In Hawaii: Complete Mini Games Guide
Make a zoo out of it (Image via SEGA)

Goro’s Kingdom is the most unique mini-game in the entire Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii. Basically, this game revolves around a farm; yes, you read that right. The Kingdom is a farm or a zoo where Majima can keep all of the different animals he acquired throughout the game. Then, you will have to feed this animal and look after their well-being. Some of the animals that you can have in your Goro Kingdom are:

  1. Rooster
  2. Cat
  3. Dog
  4. Baby Tiger and more

Goro Goro Kitchen

Goro Sandwich (Image via SEGA)

Rich Island is the home of the third and fourth Goro Goro kitchens on this list and Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii. We have already covered everything regarding what the mini-game is about. You will be able to find these two locations on:

  1. The Beach on the eastern side
  2. Central Plaza

Master System Console

The last one (Image via SEGA)

You will be able to find the third Master System Location in Central Plaza, Rich Island. It will be inside a storage shed there. And it is essentially the same as the other Master System Console, where you can play any game you own.

Nele Island

If you thought Rich Island did not have enough mini-games for you to do, then you will probably have the same sentiment towards Nele Island. Nele Island only has one mini-game location in the entire region, and other than that, there isn’t much to do.

Goro Goro Kitchen

Like A Dragon: Pirate Yakuza In Hawaii: Complete Mini Games Guide
Let him cook (Image via SEGA)

This is the fifth and last Goro Goro kitchen location. Again, it is the same as the other ones. And you can find the kitchen in the central region of the island.

Goromaru

Yes, you read that right. The developers of Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii even added mini-games on Goro’s ship, Goromaru. So you will never get bored even during voyaging on the open seas. However, there are only two mini-games available on Goromaru, which we will mention below.

Karaoke

Like A Dragon: Pirate Yakuza In Hawaii: Complete Mini Games Guide
Snap back to reality (Image via SEGA)

Goromaru is a pirate ship, so of course there will be a lot of singing and dancing on it. Well, we can’t exactly talk about the dancing part, but when it comes to singing, you will get to enjoy the previously mentioned Karaoke mini-game in the comfort of your own ship. To be more specific, it will be in Majiima’s personal cabin.

Goro Goro Kitchen

The final dish (Image via SEGA)

The last Goro Goro Kitchen location is on the Goromaru, which makes sense. A good ship needs a good kitchen to keep its crew healthy and strong, so you will be able to find the Kitchen below deck. You can go there from Majima’s quarters or from the top deck of the ship.
