While you journey from one location to another, you will see various crates floating on the water surface. These crates contain valuable items in them. Simply get near these boxes, and they will break. These crates will be a valuable source of items.

Additionally, you will also notice wind rings present all across the sea. Pass through these tunnels to gain a speed boost, which will make your journey just a bit faster.

Occasionally, you will spot enemy ships on the horizon. If you stay away from these ships, you can avoid combat. However, going near them will trigger a battle against the entire armada. So, ensure that you are ready for a skirmish before jumping into combat.

Defeating the enemy ships will net you some rewards. You can get money, items, and experience for the cannon squad as well.

Treasure Islands

These are islands where you and 4 of your crew members can disembark. Furthermore, you will have to defeat the enemy forces on the island to gain access to the treasure on the island. These battles will test your individual combat capability.

Finishing a treasure island will give your crew experience. Additionally, you also gain treasures, which are worth money and pirate points, which raise your reputation. Different treasure islands are of varying difficulties. So, don’t bite off more than you can chew.
