One thing Captain America doesn’t skip in Marvel Rivals is defending his allies in style. Captain America doesn’t have a lot of skins in Marvel Rivals yet because it hasn’t been long since the game’s release. However, we have just about enough skins to make a tier list to help you pick the right skin for your next match.

If you pick Captain America for a match, you have my respect for trying out the Vanguard class of heroes. Although he may not be the best tank out there, he has an amazing mobility that can allow him to hold aggro for longer durations if you practice his ‘dive and ditch’ gameplay style.

All Captain America Skins Tier List Marvel Rivals

We have prepared a tier list for those of you who wish to decide what skin to adorn while assembling the team to capture the point. There are four skins in the game for this character, including the default one. So, we will be using the following skins for this tier list:

  • Default
  • Captain A.I.M.erica
  • Captain Gladiator
  • Galactic Talon

Kindly note that the ranking in this tier list is subject to the writer’s opinions. Moreover, we don’t criticize or ridicule those who made the skins in the lower tiers or those who have them equipped.

A blast from the comics (Source: NetEase Games)

First appearing in Planet Hulk #1 in 2015, this look of Captain America in the game is by far one of my favorites. His costume model is completely revamped for this skin. The shield also has a completely different look. While the iconic star is still there in the middle, the shield has a primal look to it. Moreover, the shield doesn’t have the new blue outline.

Those who wish to obtain this skin in the game for their Steve Rogers can do so for 1400 Units. If you wish to buy the entire bundle, you can also do that for 1600 Units instead.

I think this is the closest we will come to a Falcon x Captain America design for Steve Rogers. The “talon” here refers to a hawk as the description suggests, but it gives off MCU Sam Wilson Captain America vibes somehow. The design is completely futuristic thanks to its connection to the Intergalactic Empire of Wakanda.

This skin is not available for purchase anymore. You can surely go and check. But when it was available, it was priced at 1400 Units. You could also buy the entire bundle for 1600 Units and get the whole package.

Default Captain America (Source: NetEase Games)

NetEase Games hit the arrow right where it needed to be for their default Captain America design. Typically, Cap’s costume is nothing but a cloth suit. Well, he is a super soldier, so he doesn’t need much protection. However, NetEase Games gave him armor to survive the events of Timestream Entanglement.

Even this default costume looks pretty high-tech. The only thing that I dislike about it is the blue aura around the shield. It is a bit off-putting and takes away the attention from the iconic shield.

Completely different color scheme (Source: NetEase Games)

The most unique thing about this skin is that it brings a completely different color palette to the screen. However, that is also the reason why it ranks so low on the tier list. I think we usually can’t see Captain America wearing off-putting bright colors. This design was inspired by the Marvel Action: Avengers #10 comic that came out in 2018. As the name suggests, it has the same colors as the evil corporation A.I.M.

If you wish to use it on the battlefield, the game allows you to buy it for just 600 Units since it’s merely a reskin of the default design in the game.
