NetEase Games’ hero shooter Marvel Rivals features an iconic roster of 33 characters in Season 0, with the popular Marvel characters divided into three roles—Vanguard, Duelist, and Strategist. Hela, the Goddess of Death, is one of the overpowered duelists in Marvel Rivals. Similar to any other character, the Goddess of Death has several outfit options available in her wardrobe. As of December 31, 2024, Hela has four skins (including her default skin). They are:
- Hela Default Skin
- Ultimate
- Goddess of Death
- Empress of the Cosmos
Although these costumes don’t offer any power-ups or effects in-game, trying out various costumes keeps the character fresh for the players. Follow along as we are going to list down all the Marvel Rivals skins of Hela into different tiers.

S-Tier Hela Skin in Marvel Rivals
Hela’s Empress of the Cosmos undoubtedly deserves the highest place. The original costume designed exclusively for Marvel Rivals, doesn’t draw any inspiration from the comics. NetEase Games meticulously crafted the costume to transform the Goddess of Death into a regal Empress of the Cosmos. With the white costume surrounded by golden ornaments, Hela looks magnificent in this outfit, with particles flowing and glowing inside her body.
This skin makes Hela more deadly and majestic, highlighting the evil goddess’ cosmic level of omnipotence and omnipresence. Introduced in Marvel Rivals Season 0, this costume can be obtained free via the free tier of the Season 0 Battle Pass, making this arguably the best costume for Hela in Marvel Rivals.
A-Tier Hela Skin in Marvel Rivals
Next, we have the Goddess of Death skin in the next tier. The Goddess of Death costume first appeared in Thor (1966) # 354. NetEase Games brought back the retro look of Hela with the Goddess of Death costume, presenting her in a more evil form. The skin can be purchased via the ‘Hela-Goddess of Death Bundle’ for 2200 units (Available for 1600 units at the time of writing). The bundle also includes:
- The Army of Hel MVP Animation
- Soul Servants Emote
- Goddess of Death Nameplate
- Goddess of Death Spray
However, you can purchase the Goddess of Death skin separately for 1400 units.
B-Tier Hela Skins in Marvel Rivals
Finally, we have two of Hela’s skins in B-Tier: Hela Default Skin and Ultimate. The Hela Default Skin is a free costume available for everyone at the start of the game. It comes with Hela’s usual appearance of a green costume with a spiky headdress.
On the other hand, her Ultimate skin is a cool and deadly variation of her default outfit. The costume was inspired by her appearance in Ultimatum (2008) #2. It replaces the usual green theme of her outfit with red and black, complimenting her evil personality. The costume can be purchased for 600 units.
