Thor is an impressive diving Vanguard who can clear out enemy Strategists with his Mjolnir. He has a few drawbacks, though. That is why he is not a high-ranking tank. However, if you still wish to brawl your way to the enemy backlines and help tank incoming damage for your team, why not do it in style? Luckily, Thor already has five skins available in the game that you can equip, including the default one.

S-Tier Thor Marvel Rivals Skins

Love and Thunder

A treat from the MCU (Source: NetEase Games)

Chris Hemsworth’s last Thor standalone movie in the MCU was Thor: Love and Thunder. Unfortunately, the movie was not received kindly by fans. However, one thing that I can argue about is that the costume design was truly eye-catching. NetEase was able to recreate the same magic with the introduction of this skin in Marvel Rivals.

I think the colors complement Thor’s might and power. He looks even more intimidating and scary while adorning this in a match. Those who wish to buy this skin will need to spend 2000 Units for it. You can also buy the entire bundle for 2200 Units instead.

Herald of Thunder

A unique model design for Thor (Source: NetEase Games)

This unique model design first appeared in the comic book Thor (2020) #1. While the costume is not a one-to-one recreation of the comic book outfit, it is still interesting enough to catch our eyes. What I love the most about the Herald of Thunder costume is that it looks completely different compared to all other costumes that Thor has in Marvel Rivals until now. He looks like a younger version of himself. Players can buy this costume for 1400 Units and the entire bundle for 1600 Units instead.

Reborn From Ragnarok

If you wish to take a trip further down memory lane, you can buy this Thor costume from the comic Thor (2007) #1. This looks pretty similar to what he wears in the popular animated show Ultimate Spider-Man. The Reborn From Ragnarok costume is not too different from the lower-tier costumes but is unique enough to be placed higher than them. You don’t have to buy this costume at all! Instead, if you hurry, you can grab it for free thanks to the Midnight Features Seasonal Event!

B-Tier Thor Marvel Rivals Skins

Default

There is nothing wrong with the default design in the game. On the contrary, he looks quite unique. When I got to know that Thor would be on the roster, the last thing I expected was to see him in a much older look. This can be a good or bad thing depending on how you look at the character. I personally did not grow fond of this look simply because there are “better” options available to choose from.

Midgard Umber

A twist on the default skin (Source: NetEase Games)
A twist on the default skin (Source: NetEase Games)

Thor’s Midgard Umber skin is just a reskin of the default Marvel Rivals costume for the hero. NetEase has released reskins for almost all heroes that are available on the hero’s profile for merely 600 Units. The same goes for this skin as well. Since it has the same character model as the default one, I am not too big of a fan. Moreover, the colors also seem too dull for the God of Thunder.
