Pick the best Strategist to heal and support your team in the next Marvel Rivals match with the help of this tier list.
Marvel Rivals doesn’t typically have a Healer class dedicated to the said role. However, irrespective of what labels they have used, we all know that all Strategists are great at supporting their teams by boosting their attacks and/or healing them. As of January 2025, the roster consists of 35 heroes and villains. Out of these 35 characters, only eight are Strategists.
All the healers in Marvel Rivals have unique Ability Kits that can suit different kinds of players. So, there is no better or worse character. However, while preparing a tier list, the might of a Strategist should be tested on the following basis:
- Their healing capabilities
- Survivability
NOTE: The tier list is subject to the writer’s opinions.
All Strategists in Marvel Rivals, Ranked
TIERS | CHARACTERS |
S | Jeff the Land Shark, Cloak & Dagger, Loki |
A | Invisible Woman, Luna Snow, Rocket Raccoon |
B | Adam Warlock, Mantis |
We have already made the criteria behind these tier ratings clear. However, if you wish to know more about why we have placed certain characters in their respective tiers, keep scrolling for further explanation.
S-Tier: Only the Best Healers
- Characters: Jeff the Land Shark, Cloak & Dagger, Loki
The characters in this tier are the ones who excel in the criteria we used to judge all the Strategists in Marvel Rivals. They all bring something unique to the table, but their best traits include the ability to heal their allies efficiently and keep them alive during combat.
Jeff the Land Shark’s primary fire heals allies rapidly while his secondary attack can shoot and deal decent damage to enemies. He can also leave behind bubbles for his allies to pick up to boost their HP and speed when he is not around.
One of the biggest pros of Cloak & Dagger is that they can switch between either of the two characters at will and not have a cooldown time for it. Dagger can heal impressively while Cloak can save himself and the allies by turning everyone invisible for a few seconds.
Loki is as much of a trickster as one would expect him to be. He can turn invisible, and backstab his enemies. His primary fire can either deal damage to enemies or heal allies! However, the highlight is his ability to place two clones simultaneously on the map that will copy where he shoots.
These characters do impressive healing and bring a lot to the table. Moreover, they are all pretty difficult to take down, making them formidable allies.
A-Tier: Something Feels Off
- Characters: Rocket Raccoon, Invisible Woman, Luna Snow
The mentioned characters in this tier are all impressive healers, but something feels off about their heals. There are different reasons for each of them that we will explore below.
While Rocket Raccoon has good mobility and a way smaller hitbox, his healing ability is not that great. He can use his minigun to contribute to the team’s Duelists. Meanwhile, his Healing ability will only help if you are not taking much damage from the enemy. One thing that I love about his Ability Kit is that he has a relay that can revive his allies.
Invisible Woman’s passive is that she turns invisible when not dealing or taking damage. This can be a very effective tactic against enemies, allowing her to survive for longer. However, her healing is not that helpful in hectic situations.
The same goes for Luna Snow. She might be able to help keep one of her teammates alive for some time, but she’s not a good group healer. If your team only has one Strategist, try not making it Luna Snow. Besides that, she can be of great help when it comes to dealing damage or healing teammates who are typically unreachable.
B-Tier: Not Effective Solo Healers
- Characters: Adam Warlock, Mantis
Most of the time, lobbies only have one Strategist because people are hesitant to take on this responsibility in a game when they just want to have fun. So, if your team needs a healer, let it be somebody from the S-tier. Whatever happens, try not to go for a B-tier Strategist.
Adam Warlock and Mantis both make great support characters. Mantis can boost damage for her teammates and herself. Adam Warlock, on the other hand, deals impressive damage without any needed boost. However, since the tier list’s criteria are good healing, these two must be placed low.
Their healing is compromised for other states because the healing in question is not their primary fire. Instead, it is an Ability that requires a cooldown. This is what makes them bad healers. Once they run out of Healing abilities, it requires a cooldown. Until then, your teammates can easily get run over by the enemy team.
