The Klyntar: Symbiotic Surface is a Convergence map in Marvel Rivals. The map features cave systems that have tight spaces which can be a bit hard to navigate. This makes it easier to set chokepoints or start fights as there is little wiggle room to escape or run around.

Similar to the other Convergence maps in the game, the goal is to escort a convoy while the opposing side will try to sabotage the operation. Any hero can be used here. However, there are heroes that work well on specific maps because of their layout.

We’ll list down heroes that can form the best team composition for Klyntar: Symbiotic Surface in Marvel Rivals.

Best Team Setup for the Klyntar: Symbiotic Surface Map in Marvel Rivals

The Klyntar: Symbiotic Surface map in Marvel Rivals features a 6v6 match where there are usually 2 players for each role. This is regarded as a norm for most players as it ensures the team can be as efficient in all aspects.

However, forming a balanced team is not an easy feat. The matchmaking in the game does not take your role into consideration when placing you on a random team. This means there is a chance that your team could be imbalanced. It is recommended to team up with your friends to build a team that fills all the roles.

Vanguard Setup for Klyntar in Marvel Rivals

Attacker Team

You’ll be seeing Venom in a lot of team compositions. This Vanguard hero can play aggressively without being easily punished. This is due to his high health pull and massive sustain from his Ultimate, Feast of the Abyss.

Doctor Strange has more than just defensive capabilities in his kit. He also has formidable damage especially when he starts charging up Dark Magic to Maelstrom of Madness. On top of that, he can also summon portals with his Pentagram of Farallah which can help in a lot of situations like escaping or engaging enemies.

Defender Team

There is a good reason why Venom always appears in most team compositions, especially for the Klyntar: Symbiotic Surface map in Marvel Rivals. On top of his high HP pool and survivability, he also has crowd controls like knock-ups and slow effects.

When it comes to protecting allies, Magneto can compete with Doctor Strange. Additionally, he can enhance his damage output by absorbing damage through his shield abilities.

Duelist Setup for Klyntar in Marvel Rivals

Attacker Team

Hawkeye never misses an arrow. This Duelist’s Ultimate ability creates afterimages of enemies that he can shoot to deal damage to them. If you want to play a ranged character but you have terrible aim, you can try Hawkeye.

Black Widow is good at long-range combat. If you’re good at sniping, Black Widow is a good pick because she can deal massive damage on headshots. She also pairs up well with Hawkeye due to their team-up ability that allows her to see the afterimage of enemies when her partner activates his Ultimate.

Defender Team

When it comes to small and narrow areas, Squirrel Girl takes the cake as the most effective Duelist. Her Ultimate, Unbeatable Squirrel Tsunami can bounce off walls, sending waves of angry squirrels to enemies running around the area. Pair her Ultimate with the Squirrel Blockade ability, and your enemies won’t have anywhere to run. This is what makes her effective in the Klyntar: Symbiotic Surface map in Marvel Rivals.

Spiderman can be a bit confusing to use due to his massive ability kit. He can swing around, close the gap with enemies, or stun them with his spider webs. He also has a Team-Up effect with Squirrel Girl, allowing her to throw explosive acorns at enemies that also immobilize them.

Strategist Setup for Klyntar in Marvel Rivals

Attacker Team

Cloak and Dagger can be a bit tricky to use. However, they offer a lot of utility and crowd control to allies so you can pull off a good combo. Cloak can heal allies while damaging enemies. Dagger, on the other hand, can blind enemies and make them take increased damage.

Adam Warlock is a good Strategist to have it your teammates love diving in front of enemies but end up getting taken down. He has continuous healing on top of being able to revive allies when needed. You can never go wrong with using Adam Warlock in a match.

Defender Team

If you prefer high mobility, Luna Snow is a good Strategist to have in the team lineup for Klyntar: Symbiotic Surface in Marvel Rivals. She can skate around the map with increased movement speed and higher jump height. Her bread and butter ability, Fate of Both Worlds, can be toggled to provide either healing or a damage increase buff. She can also synergize with Jeff the Land Shark, who is also one of the best teammates you can have in the game.

Don’t let Jeff the Land Shark’s size fool you. This cute and cuddly shark can devour anyone, even his teammates. This can be used to reposition or force enemies in a bad situation. He also has a passive way of healing his allies by simply leaving bubbles that can regenerate HP when picked up.
