“Mutant and Proud” is an achievement challenge in Marvel Rivals that players can complete starting in Season 2. It was introduced this season to fit the Mutant theme that Emma Frost and Krakoa brought. It is pretty easy to complete but slightly confusing because of the instructions given, which can be misleading for players, especially new ones. However, we are here to guide you through the process.

Completing Mutant and Proud in Marvel Rivals

The achievement “Mutant and Proud” is part of Galacta’s Guide. This set of achievements focuses on consistent activities like logging in for a specific number of days regularly or adding 20 friends. When it comes to Mutant and Proud, though, things are not the same. This achievement requires you to “Listen to 1 conversation between Mutants.” It doesn’t clarify where, whom, or how to listen to this conversation.

For starters, you don’t need to select a mutant character yourself. If you are a bystander in a spawn room with two mutants, you are eligible to claim this achievement. Moreover, the conversation doesn’t have to be pleasant either. Since not every mutant will like the other, you just have to observe them talking to each other, whether the words are sweet or bitter.

Lastly, ensure that you are in Quick Match or Competitive and that you complete the match after listening to the conversation. You can’t just leave the match midway, hoping you got the achievement. You can switch over to a different character once the conversation is complete, but finishing the match is necessary.

Players can increase their chances of achieving this by ensuring that they are playing on the new Krakoa map. Since it was specifically designed with the Mutant theme in mind, you may trigger a mutant dialogue over others by opting for mutant characters here. You can either ask your friend to take a Mutant in the spawn room or ask a random teammate to do you a favor. Either way, the dialogue exchange upon death when you kill an enemy will not count as a “conversation.”

Completing Mutant and Proud will grant you 5–10 points that help you get closer to your next Achievement Milestone in Galacta’s Guide. If you have enough, you will get the “Galacta’s Favorite” Title to showcase on your Nameplate.
