Marvel Rivals Human Torch and Storm Team-Up Ability Explained

Some mechanics make Marvel Rivals different from other hero shooter games, such as destructible environments and team-up abilities. These abilities only activate when a certain pair of characters is on the field. The Symbiote Bond between Venom, Spider-Man, and Peni Parker is an example of a team-up ability. With the release of Human Torch in season 1.5, the game got another team-up ability that has the potential of killing a whole team in mere seconds.

In this article, we are going to explain the Human Torch and Storm team-up ability, Storming Ignition, in Marvel Rivals.

Storming Ignition Explained

Whenever Human Torch and Storm are on the same team, the team-up ability Storming Ignition activates. The cost of this ability is very high as it requires two ultimates to start. Whenever the Human Torch uses his ultimate Supernova and places a fire tornado on the battlefield, Storm gets a prompt to use her ultimate by activating the team-up.

Storm gets teleported to the fire tornado and unleashes a Burning Hurricane that deals massive damage. If another fire tornado gets caught in the Burning Hurricane, it will grow in size and deal more damage.

There is another way of pulling this feat. If Storm uses her ultimate first, Human Torch can go Supernova and throw a fire tornado over her. This will create the same scenario as before, and Storm will be able to eliminate anyone who dares to compete.

This team-up ability produces so much damage that Storm can kill healers during their ultimate. Players can use this team-up to clear difficult areas on a map. Additionally, it’s a perfect solution to capture or defend an objective in a dire situation. The only downside of pairing these two heroes is that both are aerial heroes, and a good dive hero can eliminate them easily.
