How To Play Human Torch in Marvel Rivals?
Human Torch Playstyle and Combos

Human Torch spits fire on enemies from the air, and we recommend you play him as a passive attacker. He has a very good kit that can deny area control with the help of flame walls. He has a projectile primary attack that splits like a shotgun. Just like Storm, he excels in annoying backlines from afar. However, the Flaming Meteor ability is used to dive in and can cause serious damage when mixed with Flame Field. Here’s a combo that can guarantee killing a 275 HP character:
- Hit the character with a primary attack.
- Use secondary fire to create a Flame Field beneath the opponent.
- Finish the combo with Flaming Meteor.
- The Flaming Meteor explodes the Flame Field causing bonus damage.
Just like his Pyro-Prison, Human Torch’s ultimate Supernova also helps in denying areas. During the Supernova form, he can place three fire tornadoes at a time, and all of them do area damage.
Human Torch’s Mobility

Just like Storm and Iron Man, Human Torch is a flying hero and has a movement speed of 6 m/s. Moreover, he can boost his movement speed using the Plasma Body ability. However, being able to fly can be a problem because the hero is spotted very easily. Reposition quickly using his abilities and keep the enemies guessing.

Human Torch’s Survivability

Our flaming hot boy has only 250 HP, which makes him incredibly fragile on the battlefield. There is no way of getting bonus health other than the United Siblings team-up ability. Human Torch relies on healers and health packs to sustain. All of these things make him a very vulnerable hero in the midst of a battle. We recommend positioning him near the healers to guard them from the divers.
Best Team Composition With Human Torch in Marvel Rivals

Human Torch is a passive-aggressive duelist and will shine brighter when paired with Storm. This single team-up can kill Luna Snow during her ultimate. Other than Storm, we recommend running the following team composition to win matches:
- Venom
- Thor
- Storm
- Human Torch
- Invisible Woman
- Adam Warlock
Players can switch Venom with Captain America, as both can be a dive Vanguard. Additionally, players can switch Adam Warlock with Cloak and Dagger.
Human Torch Counters in Marvel Rivals

A good Spider-Man can kill Human Torch in an instant. Moreover, heroes like Peni Parker, Hulk, Luna Snow, and Invisible Woman can stun him very easily. Hawkeye can one-shot him. When playing against a Human Torch, use ranged attackers to kill him from a distance. We recommend eliminating him as soon as possible to save yourself from the scorching fires.
