Players may be unimpressed to know that the developers are planning a rank reset equaling a drop of four divisions from the rank at which you ended the first half of Season 1. All of this was revealed during the recent Dev Talk diaries for the game. So, if you were at Grandmaster I level at the end of the first half of Marvel Rivals Season 1, you’ll start from Diamond II level in the impending season. Players who manage to earn high ranks will be pushed backward, canceling out much of their grind and rank improvements.

And that’s not all. When Season 1 ends and Season 2 gets underway, you will have to experience another rank reset. This even more devastating reset will set your rank back by six divisions instead of four.
