The in-game description of Divine Blessing, ‘Has a predetermined chance of reducing the damage you take’, doesn’t explain exactly how the skill works, leaving players confused. This guide explains the Divine Blessing skill and how it works in Monster Hunter Wilds.

How Does Divine Blessing Skill Work in Monster Hunter Wilds?
The Blessing Skill has a 20% chance to activate whenever you take a hit, reducing the damage. The skill triggers automatically, and when activated, players will receive a notification on the right side of the screen. It reduces the damage and prevents being knocked back from that attack.
Divine Blessing has three levels, with the subsequent levels reducing the damage rate further. However, it won’t increase the chance of triggering the skill. Here are the effects of the Divine Blessing skill at each level:
- Level 1: While active, reduces damage taken by 15%.
- Level 2: While active, reduces damage taken by 30%.
- Level 3: While active, reduces damage taken by 50%.
