Squads in Monster Hunter Wilds or MHWilds allow players to easily connect with other hunters and make a community. You will be able to engage in the Squads option by interacting with one of the NPCs present in the Windward Plains Base Camp. There are quite a few benefits to being in a Squad, including being able to use the chat option to talk with other players at any point during the gameplay.
We discuss further about Squads in MHWilds in detail below.
Monster Hunter Wilds Squads Overview
Where Is the Squad Information Center in MHWilds: Location Explored

In the Windward Plains Base Camp, you will find Felicita on the left of the main tent’s entrance. The first time you interact with her, she will talk to you about Squads, followed by several prompts on how the mechanic works. The attached map screenshot should help you figure out where to find the NPC.
What Are Squads in Monster Hunter Wilds?

The game describes Squads as a mechanic that allows hunters to band together as a community in MHWilds. Once you have joined one, you can talk via chat with other members at any time. Any post will remain even after you log out.
Furthermore, special Squad lobbies can also be created for playing together among members in Monster Hunter Wilds. A Squad lobby’s maximum player limit is directly proportional to the Squad’s size, meaning the former grows with the latter. The Squad Lobby gets disbanded if the capacity is exceeded. A new Squad Lobby will then have its upper limit adjusted to the new Squad size.
