Freezer Sac is an Equipment Material in Monster Hunter Wilds that lets the Hunters forge interesting equipment for their adventures. Since the item is of Rarity 6, you won’t get it often. In fact, the sources that drop it have a rare chance of dropping it in the first place.
You will increase your chances of obtaining a Freezer Sac if you know how to look for it. Be warned, though. You can’t farm it. But by completing certain assignments/quests and hurting specific monsters, you can get hold of the crafting material.
Where To Find Freezer Sac in Monster Hunter Wilds?
Primarily, you will find Freezer Sac on two monsters when you fight them in High Rank. Jin Dahaad and Hirabami are two beasts with 18% and 20% drop rates for this item, respectively. These will be your targets even in the quests and assignments we are about to mention. These go as follows:
- Fleeting Victory (Optional Quest) – Hirabami
- Echoing From the Cliffs (Optional Quest) – Tempered Blangonga, Tempered Hirabami
- Frozen Lord On the Precipice (Assignment) – Jin Dahaad
- When Frost Falls (Optional Quest) – Jin Dahaad
- Secure Wounded Hollow (Optional Quest) – Hirabami
The first and last quests on this list are of 4 difficulty while others are 6. So, we suggest that you always prepare accordingly when facing these monsters, including the Blangonga. Note that Blangonga isn’t a good source if you wish to gather Freezer Sac. However, you will have to take it down if you select the second quest from the list above.
Keeping this in mind, we suggest you go on individual free-roam hunts for Hirabami and Jin Dahaad if you don’t wish to concern yourself with a quest.
