Monster Hunter Wilds: How To Get Machalite Ore

Machalite Ore is a common resource in Monster Hunter Wilds, serving as a key component in forging various weapons and armor. 

In Monster Hunter Wilds, Machalite Ore is one of the most common resources, and players will need it frequently throughout their playthrough. Since it is an important crafting material, understanding its farming methods can help you to become a better hunter.

It serves as a crucial component in forging numerous armor and weapons, enhancing your builds. It can be obtained by mining the Mining Outcrops spots scattered across every region. Here is how to farm Machalite Ore effectively in Monster Hunter Wilds. 

Where To Farm Machalite Ore in Monster Hunter Wilds

While Machalite Ore can be obtained at  Mining Outcrops in every region, some specific spots yield a higher drop rate compared to others, especially Scarlet Forest. The best farming spots in the Forest are areas 8, 12, and 13. Notably, you will find multiple outcrop nodes near the waterfalls to the west of Area 8. 

While you can also obtain them at Oilwell Basin areas 4, 6, and 7 and Windward Plains areas 1, 2, 3, 7, 9, 10, and 17, these are only available for Low-Rank hunters. Since Mining Outcrops nodes can regenerate in about 15 minutes, you can return periodically to farm efficiently.

Along with Machalite Ore, mining these outcrops can yield Iron Ore and Earth Crystals. Since your character always has a pickaxe, you don’t need specific tools like pickaxes to mine ores. Additionally, you can obtain Machalite Ore by defeating Low-Rank Piragill and completing various quests.
