Monster Hunter Wilds, the latest installment from Capcom’s hit franchise, is out, and the players are already enjoying the title. While the multiplayer aspect has certain drawbacks, franchise fans are celebrating the overall game. Monster Hunter Wilds has introduced various new monsters like Doshaguma, Balahara, Rey Dau, Jin Dahaad, and Arkveld, but it misses out on many popular fan-favorite monsters.

The first free title update (TU) for Spring is scheduled for April, bringing one of the most-beloved monsters, Mizutsune — a flagship monster of Monster Hunter Generations, also featured in Monster Hunter Rise. While Mizutsune is a top choice for Monster Hunter Wilds, several other monsters would fit perfectly for the title’s future TUs. Let’s highlight some fan-favorite monsters that players would love to see in Monster Hunter Wilds’ future TUs.

Kicking off the list is the Lord of the Seas Lagiacrus, one of the most requested monsters from the franchise. Although a prototype was developed for Lagiacrus in Monster Hunter World, the monster was ultimately cut from the final version due to some animation issues. Since then, the fans have been requesting the Leviathan’s return desperately. Aquatic battles with Lagiacrus underwater is an exhilarating and great experience, and fans would definitely love to experience them again in Monster Hunter Wilds.

2) Rajang

Rajang, the ape-like Fanged Beast, is undoubtedly one of the most-feared monsters in the entire series. With extreme aggression and physical strength, it remains a nightmare not only for hunters but also for Elder Dragons. It is the only non-elder that preys on Elder Dragons, especially Kirin for its horns. Rajang is extremely challenging for veteran hunters, making it a perfect addition to Monster Hunter Wilds for those who prefer an extra challenge.

3) Magnamalo

During the hunt, Magnamalo uses almost all of its body parts for attacking while also inflicting elemental and status ailments, making it unpredictable and challenging.

Another variant, Primordial Malzeno, remains one of the fan-favorite monsters of the series, making it a great potential addition to Wilds in the future TUs. As an Elder Dragon, Primordial Malzeno is extremely powerful and can overpower other formidable monsters like Scorned Magnamalo, Velkhana, and Gaismagorm.

5) Nergigante

Nergigante is another Elder Dragon and the flagship monster of Monster Hunter: World, beloved by fans for its dominance and fearsome presence. While Nergigante has extreme speed and strength, what sets it apart is its regenerative abilities. Its spikes can regenerate in certain parts, which can deal serious damage when hardened. Fans had expected the return of Nergigante in MH Rise, but its absence leaves them disappointed. Could Monster Hunter Wilds finally bring back Nergigante?

In addition to these monsters, other fan-favorites like Zinogre, Valstrax, Nargacuga, and Tigrex would also make great additions to Monster Hunter Wilds’ future Title Updates (TUs).
