Capcom recently announced a dedicated showcase for Monster Hunter Wilds’ Title Update 1 (TU1). The studio did reveal a few of the key additions that players can expect from the game’s very first major title update, including the new monster, Mizutsune. However, following the release of Monster Hunter Wilds, Capcom also hinted at a few other surprises for the TU1.
During the upcoming showcase, Capcom will reveal a ton of information regarding Monster Hunter Wilds’ future, including all the new additions coming to the game via TU1, event updates, and more. Furthermore, the event might finally provide fans a peek at the new monster coming to the game—rumored to be “more difficult than Tempered Monsters.”

Monster Hunter Wilds Title Update 1 Showcase Schedule

The Monster Hunter Wilds TU1 Showcase is scheduled for March 25, 2025, at 7 AM PDT. The primary focus of the event will be the upcoming title update and its contents. In addition, much like the pre-release events, the TU1 Showcase will be hosted by series producer—Ryozo Tsujimoto. Capcom has already confirmed that the first title update will have a “host of other new additions” to Monster Hunter Wilds, apart from the new monster, Mizutsune.
As of writing this article, Capcom has not revealed a confirmed release date for Title Update 1. However, it is quite likely that the publisher will finally offer a concrete release date for the free title update, during the upcoming showcase.
Monster Hunter Wilds had a fantastic release weekend, selling more than 8 million copies within the first 3 days. However, the game did face some backlash from players owing to its combat difficulty, and technical performance. Furthermore, on PC, the game received a “mixed” reception from players. In addition to that, some players also reported performance issues on consoles. Hopefully, Capcom will address these issues during the showcase, alongside the TU1’s new additions.
