Mycopunk is the hot new PvE shooter taking gamers by storm. This game takes everything you love about games such as Deep Rock Galactic and Borderlands while combining them into one polished package.

The game has the extraction-based gameplay of DRG and the classes of Borderlands. The classes, especially, have a ton of depth to them and enforce different playstyles. They can be a bit confusing to understand, especially if you’re just starting out, but we’re here to help with that. In this guide, we shall go over all the classes in Mycopunk, their tools, and the general play style each class enforces.

As stated earlier, there are four classes in Mycopunk, each with its own play style. We’ve discussed them in detail below:

Glider

Glider is the most agile of the bunch and is best used to hit and run. Glider comes with a wingsuit that allows it to fly around anytime things get tricky. The employee also comes with the Rocket Salvo ability, which is a barrage of rockets that damages enemies and heals teammates. Since the ability distinguishes between enemies and allies, you can often fire it recklessly with good results.

Wrangler

Wrangler is also an agile employee, but with far less verticality than Glider. This employee comes with the Rocket Lasso that works as a grappling hook of sorts. You can use this lasso to latch onto enemies and pull yourself towards them. Alternatively, you can also use the lasso to pull objects towards you, allowing you to adapt as needed. Wrangler can also dash in mid-air, which is ideal for getting out of a pinch.

Bruiser

Bruiser is the tank of the squad, and his abilities allow him to push forward and lead the attack. The employee comes with the Hard-Light Projector, which is a shield the employee can use to deflect projectiles and can also stun enemies. If you manage to use the shield to push close enough, you can then jump into the air and use the Nose Dive, a powerful shockwave AOE attack.

Scrapper

Scrapper comes with a Grapple Pole that is a get-out-of-jail card for other players. This is a pole Scrapper can manually set up, which other players can then grapple to. This helps players in a pinch while also setting up traversal points across the map. Scrapper also has a jetpack that helps him fly, but the mobility is limited when compared to Glider.
