The New Destiny 2 Lightfall The Game Awards Trailer has been released during the game awards and showcases the Strand subclass’s new skills in action and details about the new expansion! The Bungie team was very cautious about the new expansion details they shared so far. But the veil of secrecy was lifted a little today. And now, every Destiny 2 Guardian is waiting to put their guns to use and fight against the darkness in the continuation of the story known as The Light and Dark saga.
The Lightfall is a new expansion for Bungie’s looter-shooter game that will follow the story from the previous DLC, the Witch Queen. This time players will be able to explore the Neptune area called Neomuna. We have little information about the area itself but from the Trailers, it looks like a sizable area that we haven’t seen before. The story will be a continuation of the Dark and Light saga, thus introducing the new sub-class Strand.

Bungie has released the New Lightfall trailer that you can watch below or Destiny 2 channel, foreshadowing what we can expect and building excitement in players’ hearts. As a result, many Destiny 2 players will come back to the game to level their gear and get new weapons and cosmetics for their guardians.
Destiny 2 Lightfall – Release Date
Nextly, players will wait for this big DLC called Destiny 2 Lightfall, it will launch on February 28th 2023. However, the expansion is already available to pre-order for all platforms. It will probably launch at 5 p.m. UTC same as the previous expansions. As always, you’ll be able to play the game on PC, Xbox Series S, and PlayStation 5. So far Bungie is very secretive about their new upcoming game, but for now, you can watch the official trailer HERE.
