Which are the Shortest and the Longest One Punch Man Arcs?
There are a couple of One Punch Man arcs that are rather small. Early on, the Paradise Group arc, the National Superhero Registry arc, and the Giant Meteor arc are quite small. However, the smallest arc has to be the Garou Introduction arc. This particular section of the story has only two chapters in the source material (webcomic) and two chapters in the manga adaptation. As the name suggests, it introduces the Hero Hunter to the series. Garou is one of the most beloved characters who has garnered a massive fan following.
The Monster Association arc is the longest One Punch Man story arc. In this section of the story, there are 93 chapters, and it went on for nearly 7 years. This is also considered the best section of the story so far. Not only does it have some of the most exciting fight scenes, but Garou undergoes a considerable amount of character development. This is when fans can get a glimpse of Saitama’s true potential. The anticipation for season 3 is at an all-time high because it will continue to cover the Monster Association arc.
How Many One Punch Man Arcs are Left to be Animated?
At the time of writing, the first two seasons have adapted the first 14 arcs. The second season entered the Monster Association arc, and the third season will continue to adapt this story arc. However, if season 3 only has 12-13 episodes, it will not be able to adapt the entire Monster Association arc. Therefore, the anime has to adapt about seven arcs, starting with the Monster Association arc to the Neo Heroes Uprising arc.
The manga adaptation is yet to catch up to the webcomic chapters. The manga is currently in the Ninjas arc.
