A detailed list of all the One Punch Man arcs in chronological order: Exploring the status of the webcomic, manga, and anime adaptation.
One Punch Man is a well-known animanga series that gained a massive fan following for its unique combination of action and comedy. The concept of the hero’s struggle doesn’t exist since the main character is quite literally capable of defeating anyone with just one punch. This makes him an incredibly tough opponent to beat, and there hasn’t been a single villain he has lost to so far.
Despite the monotony in fight results, the show is incredibly exciting. However, newer fans would be interested to know that the manga is an adaptation, not the source material. The One Punch Man was originally a webcomic series, which was later adapted into a manga. Following that, the anime adaptation was released.
Since there are three different formats for the same story, fans are eager to know more about the story arcs explored in all of them. Here’s a detailed list of all the story arcs, the respective manga chapters, and anime episodes.

Which are the Shortest and the Longest One Punch Man Arcs?
There are a couple of One Punch Man arcs that are rather small. Early on, the Paradise Group arc, the National Superhero Registry arc, and the Giant Meteor arc are quite small. However, the smallest arc has to be the Garou Introduction arc. This particular section of the story has only two chapters in the source material (webcomic) and two chapters in the manga adaptation. As the name suggests, it introduces the Hero Hunter to the series. Garou is one of the most beloved characters who has garnered a massive fan following.
The Monster Association arc is the longest One Punch Man story arc. In this section of the story, there are 93 chapters, and it went on for nearly 7 years. This is also considered the best section of the story so far. Not only does it have some of the most exciting fight scenes, but Garou undergoes a considerable amount of character development. This is when fans can get a glimpse of Saitama’s true potential. The anticipation for season 3 is at an all-time high because it will continue to cover the Monster Association arc.
How Many One Punch Man Arcs are Left to be Animated?
At the time of writing, the first two seasons have adapted the first 14 arcs. The second season entered the Monster Association arc, and the third season will continue to adapt this story arc. However, if season 3 only has 12-13 episodes, it will not be able to adapt the entire Monster Association arc. Therefore, the anime has to adapt about seven arcs, starting with the Monster Association arc to the Neo Heroes Uprising arc.
The manga adaptation is yet to catch up to the webcomic chapters. The manga is currently in the Ninjas arc. Following season 3, the subsequent installation of the anime might complete the Monster Association arc and continue adapting the Psychic Sisters arc. Based on where the anime stands at the moment, there is plenty left for the animation studio to adapt in the coming years.
What is the Current Arc in the Manga?
Currently, the manga is in the Ninjas arc, which has given plenty of focus to Blast and his former comrade. The antagonist in this arc had a close relationship with the top-ranked S-Class hero in the past. At the time of writing, there are 206 chapters in the manga, and a considerable amount of content is left to be adapted in this section of the story. Following this, the Supreme Hero arc will be adapted quickly since there are only five chapters in the webcomic. Fans who are currently reading the Neo Heroes Uprising arc are excited for the manga to adapt this section.
Conclusion
There are 21 story arcs, with the Monster Association arc being the longest and the Garou Introduction arc being the shortest. The source material is well ahead of the manga, and the anime has multiple seasons’ worth of content to adapt. The pipeline looks pretty full at the moment, and fans eagerly await the release of the third installment.
