Don’t miss out on Pokemon GO Tour Unova! Discover the top 5 reasons why this event is a must-attend for Pokemon trainers.

Pokemon GO Tour: Unova is coming soon and here are plenty of reasons to look forward to it! This free, global event runs from March 1 to March 2, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. local time. Whether you’re a longtime Unova fan or just starting out, there’s something for everyone. Let’s break down the top five things that make this event special!
1. Exciting Shiny Pokemon Are Making Their Debut!
Unova’s legendary dragons are arriving in an exciting way—Pokemon fusion!

Black Kyurem
You have to fuse Kyurem and Zekrom to create Black Kyurem! You’ll need 1,000 Volt Fusion Energy, 30 Kyurem Candy, and 30 Zekrom Candy to make this happen. Once fused, Black Kyurem gets a powerful move: Freeze Shock.
White Kyurem
If you prefer a fiery touch, fuse Kyurem and Reshiram using 1,000 Blaze Fusion Energy, 30 Kyurem Candy, and 30 Reshiram Candy. This will create White Kyurem, which learns Ice Burn when fused.
Both forms stay fused until you separate them. They cannot be traded or transferred to the professor or Pokemon HOME.

Shiny Meloetta
Shiny Meloetta will make its first appearance in Pokemon GO through Masterwork Research and you will get a chance to encounter this Legendary Pokemon in its shiny form. Tickets for this special encounter will be available for purchase between February 24 and March 2, 2025.
Shiny Deerling
Shiny Deerling, the Season Pokemon, will also make its debut, with players being able to encounter its shiny variant in the wild. With Deerling’s different seasonal appearances, be sure to check each hourly rotation of the event’s season-themed habitats for your chance at a shiny one!
Other Shiny Pokemon
Additionally, you can expect the debut of other shiny Pokemon, such as Shiny Maractus, Shiny Sigilyph, and Shiny Bouffalant. All of these will hatch from 10 km Eggs during the event. So, whether you complete research tasks, hatch Eggs, or explore the habitats, there’s plenty of shiny excitement to look forward to!
