Pokemon GO: How To Evolve Cherubi

The cherry-inspired Pokémon Cherubi has 2 evolutions that you can get. The Overcast or the Sunshine form of Cherrim. The evolution has two different visuals depending on what you want.

The grass-type Pokémon evolves according to your location’s weather conditions. Here is how to evolve your Cherubi in Pokémon GO.

Evolve Cherubi to Cherrim in Pokémon GO

Once you have captured your Cherubi, you would want to evolve it into its two different forms that are available in Pokémon GO. Cherubi is a grass-type Pokémon that has a max CP of 1074. Your Cherubi is very weak against Flying, Poison, Bug, Fire, and Ice moves, so be careful while battling it against these types. Your Cherubi will probably be one-shot by moves of those elements.

A Cherubi seems to be designed after berries from the real world. But a livelier and cuter version. If you want to evolve your Cherubi, you must know that there are currently two evolutions of Cherubi in Pokémon GO. The sunny and bright Sunshine version highlights a ripe and ready fruit surrounded by its leaves. Or, the Overcast version that signifies a berry hiding from the rain covered by its leaves.

To evolve your Cherubi, you need to gather at least 50 Cherubi candy in the game. You can collect more by using Pinap berries so that you collect double the Cherubi candies while catching it. Walk your Cherubi for a km or two to get more Cherubi Candy. Collect more Cherubi and transfer them to Professor Willow so that you can get more candies from him. Lastly, you should participate in events that increase the spawn rates of Cherubi so that you can obtain more Cherubi Candies in Pokémon GO.

Once you have obtained the 50 Cherubi Candy, use the “Evolve” button on the Pokémon’s page to evolve it. The cutscene will play, and your Cherubi will evolve into the Overcast Cherrim or the Sunshine Cherrim, depending on your location. The Overcast Cherrim is obtained when the weather is anything but sunshine, while the Sunshine Cherrim is obtained when the weather is sunny and clear. Both of your Pokémon have the same stats and maximum CP of 1074. However, Sunshine Cherrim can learn one extra charged move, Weather Ball (Fire type.)
