Pokemon GO Kyurem Fusions: All Forms, New Attacks, and Release Date

Kyurem Fusions finally debut in Pokemon GO, and here are the details on all its forms, the new attacks, and its release date.

Pokemon GO is all set to start 2025 with a bang as Kyurem Fusions finally debuts during the Unova Tour. The Tao Trio from Unova had already debuted in Pokemon GO before. However, Kyurem’s fused forms with Reshiram and Zekrom had been missing, and you will finally be able to get your hands on these. Furthermore, Black Kyurem and White Kyurem will also debut with their new signature attacks, making them even more elusive.

In this article, we will explore all the details about the Kyurem Fusions in Pokemon GO, including their forms, new attacks, and their release date. Although these will eventually be available to players globally, some places will get exclusive in-person access to them a few days earlier.

Pokemon GO Kyurem Fusions: All Forms

The Pokemon GO Tour: Unova will let you get the two Kyurem Fusions from the anime and mainline games:

• Black Kyurem: Fusion of Kyurem and Zekrom.
• White Kyurem: Fusion of Kyurem and Reshiram.

Black Kyurem features the icy elements fused with Kyurem, while White Kyurem features red shades per Reshiram’s fiery element. Both Kyurem Fusion Forms also debut with their shiny variants. This means you will be able to get Shiny Black Kyurem and Shiny White Kyurem if your Zekrom or Reshiram is Shiny in Pokemon GO.

You will need Volt Fusion Energy and Blaze Fusion Energy, and then use DNA Splicers to fuse Zekrom and Reshiram, respectively with Kyurem in Pokemon GO.

Pokemon GO Kyurem Fusions: New Attacks

Black Kyurem and White Kyurem will also have access to their signature moves, as Pokemon GO also brings in two brand-new charged attacks:

• Freeze Shock: Signature move of Black Kyurem. To get it, you must fuse Zekrom with a Kyurem that knows the Charged Attack Glaciate.
• Ice Burn: Signature move of White Kyurem. To get it, you must fuse Reshiram with a Kyurem that knows the Charged Attack Glaciate.

Pokemon GO Kyurem Fusions: Release Date

Both the Kyurem Fusions, i.e., Black Kyurem and White Kyurem (along with their Shiny variants) will debut during the Pokemon GO Tour: Unova. Before they are globally available to all people, some areas will see exclusive in-person raids where players can catch them.

The Pokemon GO Tour: Unova exclusive in-person raids will take place from February 21, 2025, to February 23, 2025. These special in-person events will take place in the following cities:

• Rose Bowl Stadium in Los Angeles, California
• New Taipei Metropolitan Park in New Taipei City, Taiwan

You will need to purchase the Pokemon GO Tour: Unova Tickets to take part in these exclusive in-person raids. Without the tickets, you will not be able to experience the exclusive gameplay content.

For players globally, Kyurem Fusions will be available during the Pokemon GO Tour: Unova Global, which will take place on March 1 and 2, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM local time.
