How To Use the Special Rend Adventure Effect in Pokemon GO
To use the Spacial Rend Adventure Effect, you need a Palkia that knows the Charged Attack Spacial Rend. From the Pokemon Summary screen, spend 5,000 Stardust and 5 Palkia Candy. This activates the effect for 10 minutes. During this time, your spawn radius extends to 90 meters. You can catch Pokemon within 80 meters of your avatar.
Want more time? You can extend it in 10-minute increments. Keep adding time up to two hours per session. Simply use more Stardust and Palkia Candy to keep the effect active.
Cost of the Rend Adventure Effect
The cost of Spacial Rend depends on how long you want to use it:
- 10 minutes: 5,000 Stardust and 5 Palkia Candy
- 1 hour: 30,000 Stardust and 30 Palkia Candy
- 2 hours: 60,000 Stardust and 60 Palkia Candy
For longer durations, you can extend it up to 24 hours. This will cost 720,000 Stardust and 720 Palkia Candy. Be sure you plan to fully use the effect before spending.
How To Get the Rend Adventure Effect in Pokemon GO
To get the effect, first defeat Origin Forme Palkia in a raid battle. Catch Palkia, and it may know Spacial Rend. At this time, you cannot teach Spacial Rend using a TM. Once you have a Palkia with Spacial Rend, you can activate the Adventure Effect from its summary screen.
Spacial Rend not only enhances adventures but also works in battles:
- Trainer Battles: 95 Power
- Gyms and Raids: 160 Power
