If you want to evolve Flapple and Appletun during this event window, the free research gives you only one of each apple type. That’s enough to evolve just one. On the other hand, if you’re casual with daily gameplay or plan to take part in the event only lightly, the free version still covers the basics. You’ll get a Mossy Lure, one Sweet Apple, and one Tart Apple—enough to evolve one Applin if you’re lucky enough to get it.
Also, the Pokemon included in the ticket-exclusive encounters—Delibird and Skwovet—are already available through other event methods like wild spawns and eggs. You may not feel the need for a ticket if your main goal is just collecting candies or Shiny hunting.
Players who are focused more on completing Field Research or hatching eggs also might not see enough benefit in the ticket to justify its purchase.
Can You Use PokeCoins To Buy the Event Ticket?
