Popular Twitch streamer NymN has received a 48-hour ban on the platform due to a DMCA strike on his channel.

Popular Twitch streamer NymN faced the ban hammer once again on February 14, 2025. StreamerBans reported that this marks his second suspension on the platform. Allegedly, the ban was triggered by NymN watching The Lord of the Rings during his stream.
His first ban occurred in 2019 when he accidentally streamed inside the TwitchCon partner lounge while assisting fellow streamer xQc in reaching an event. That suspension initially lasted 14 days before being reduced. This time, Twitch has enforced a two-day ban on his channel.

Exploring NymN’s Previous Ban
NymN’s first ban on Twitch was in 2019, after he helped fellow streamer xQc get to his meet-and-greet at the TwitchCon 2019. The streamer briefly streamed in the partner lounge, a restricted recording area. According to the streamer, he had been pointing his camera to the ground for most of the time. But, a brief moment showed xQc on screen, which was enough for Twitch to ban him.
The fault is definitely on me, though 14 days feels like a very long time for this especially considering I have never been suspended before. I'll try to appeal so keep your fingers crossed. Currently texting from San Francisco airport I'll update you guys more when I get home😻

The streamer expressed his disappointment with the Amazon-owned platform for suspending him for 14 days. Considering he was never banned on the platform, NymN felt like 14 days was a long time. Several streamers expressed their disappointment about the situation including, 39daph, Lacari, bnans, and many more.
“awww f**k I hope it gets shortened seems a bit excessive considering you were covering cam no????” stated @39daph.
“That’s a bummer considering you even switched to a black screen without sound when you went in there to get him. You had good intent so hopefully that’ll help with the appeal. Good luck!” wrote @bnans.
“f**k twitch” commented @Lacari.
