Release Date

The Rengoku event is set to release on July 30, 2025, which is fairly early considering we were just done with the Showdown event a few weeks ago. Much like the Showdown event, this, too, will be a limited-time event. While we’re not sure about the duration, we can expect it to be around two weeks if past trends are to be followed.

Rewards

The Rengoku event will bring forth exclusive cosmetics, much like every other event in Rainbow Six Siege. Ubisoft gave us a peek at one of the cosmetics you can expect this time around– the Imprisoned Dragon for the G36C. This skin has a dragon at the top of the gun frame, and it breathes fire every time you go for a reload.

Rengoku Rules

The Rengoku event is a PvP secure area game mode held on the Skyscraper map. You play in two teams of 5 and spawn into the map. As soon as you spawn in, you’re shown three different sites that you can secure. You then have to rush and secure as many of them as you can. Once a site is secured, it gives you points every few seconds. The more sites you secure, the more points you get. The first team to reach 300 points wins the match.

Operator Loadouts and Abilities

You can pick between a limited selection of pre-determined operators. We don’t know what the operators for this season will be, but we can expect favorites such as Twitch and Zofia to return. Each of the operators comes with a loadout consisting of a shotgun and a kunai. The kunai each have different abilities, ranging from smoke and fire to impact and air jabs. Furthermore, your operators can climb hatches, too, incentivizing players to move around and capture sites.
