A Spewer is one of the most annoying creatures in REPO. How can you counter and defeat the small monster in the game?

Spewer is one of the many creatures that Repo offers in its co-op horror experience. The game’s design and chaotic mechanics don’t allow things to be too scary all the time. However, the abilities of these monsters can certainly overwhelm players if they don’t know how to counter them. Usually found in Swiftbroom Academy and Headman Manor, Spewer is a problematic creature for your entire team. Let’s learn how to put it down.
Defeating Spewer In REPO
How Does It Behave?
Despite its small size, a Spewer is pretty aggressive. You can spot one in Swiftbroom Academy and Headman Manor. It is a small, insect-like creature floating around. A Spewer moves quite swiftly and is always patrolling. Those who get in its line of sight, it will attach itself to the face quickly and “spew” acid all around. This is exactly what makes it a dangerous creature.
The acid it lets out deals a lot of damage to allies. But how will it hit anyone if a player can see their teammates? That’s the thing; it obstructs your view, contributing to accidental acid-spewing. While the acid can be dangerous, the face-hugging from Spewer does not directly damage the affected player. So, players playing alone won’t be affected.

Countering a Spewer in Repo
When a Spewer sees you, it will aggressively rush towards you and latch on to you. Unfortunately, there is no way to remove it. It will stay there for 50 seconds. Although it won’t damage the host it latches on to, it will spew acid in a straight line. So, the best way to “counter” this mechanic is to look away from your friends. If there are other monsters around, try aiming the acid at them. Moreover, if they attack in a straight line, you can use the acid to perform a “super jump” and get out of the way.
Don’t attack the player to whom the Spewer has attached itself. You cannot beat the creature into submission. However, if you spot it before it has the chance to latch on to anyone, the best way to defend yourselves is by hitting it once with a Baseball Bat or twice with a Frying Pan.
