REPO’s Moon Phase update adds Moon Phases to the game, special phases that modify gameplay and make runs harder.

REPO is a game that hit the ground running hot back in February, and now looks to keep the momentum going months later with its Moon Phase update. The Moon Phase update looks to revamp your REPO experience, and is one hellbent on pushing you out of your comfort zone.
The Moon Phase update adds Moon Phases to your runs in REPO. These Moon Phases are special phases during your runs that add modifiers. A new phase occurs every five levels and brings with it a new modifier. These modifiers nerf healing, nerf Overcharge abilities, alter Orbs, and so much more.
Your experience with the game changes every five levels, and this can be overwhelming, especially if you’re jumping into the game after a long break. If you’re struggling with the new Moon Phases in REPO, our guide will help you out.

Moon Phases in REPO Explained
As stated earlier, Moon Phases are special phases that add modifiers to your run. They occur every five levels, and are as shared below.
Crescent Moon (Level 5)

The Crescent Moon is the first Moon Phase in the game, and kicks off at level 5. As soon as it begins, the game displays a moon on your screen, signaling that the modifiers are in place. In this phase:
- Truck Healers restore 35 HP instead of 50.
- Monsters are harder to knock down with valuables.

Half Moon (Level 10)
As soon as you hit Level 10, the game displays a Half Moon banner, signaling that the next phase has begun. This phase brings the following changes:
- Monsters overcharge your grabber. This means you can’t grab them for long, making them harder to deal with.
- Pits no longer kill monsters, but instead deal heavy damage. You can’t rely on pits to kill the monsters in this phase.
- The Truck Healer is nerfed further, and only restores 25 HP. We recommend carrying health packs to manage your health.
Full Moon (Level 15)

The Full Moon phase kicks off at Level 15 and brings with it the following modifiers:
- Monsters overcharge the grabber by an additional 25%. This means the grab time is cut even further, making grabbing a risky strategy. You’ll have to invest heavily in Strength to counter this debuff.
- The pit damage is reduced further, and monsters now barely take damage from falling into one.
Super Moon (Level 20)
The Super Moon is the final Moon Phase in REPO, and brings in the most frustrating and difficult modifiers:
- Monsters overcharge the grabber by an additional 50%. This means you’ll be knocked to your back very often when grabbing. If you haven’t invested well in Strength, this will be very difficult.
- Enemy Orbs explode when dropped. This means you can’t risk dropping any Orb as it could kill you.
