The following guide explains how you can get your hands on the Blight Bomb Stabilizer in Revenge of the Savage Planet.
There are many upgrades that you’ll need to unlock as you progress through Revenge of the Savage Planet. Each of these will be crucial to the main story and for general exploration. Some of the upgrades can also help you unearth secrets across the different planets. The Blight Bomb Stabilizer is one such powerful upgrade that’ll help open up new paths.
In this guide, we’ll explain how you can get your hands on the Blight Bomb Stabilizer in Revenge of the Savage Planet. We’ll also dive into how you can use this upgrade.
How To Get the Blight Bomb Stabilizer in Revenge of the Savage Planet
You will get the upgrade after fighting the Floopsnot Queen. However, before attempting this, make sure you already have access to the grappling hook and Launch Thruster upgrades. These are essential in reaching the location where the Floopsnot Queen is. You can get both of these in the Itching Fields region of the game.
After getting these upgrades, follow the steps mentioned below to acquire the Blight Bomb Stabilizer:
- Step 1: Fast travel to the Festering Chasm teleporter.
- Step 2: Go up the ramp and follow the magnetic grind rails to reach the top of the cliffs.
- Step 3: Use the grapple and the zip abilities to reach the Lair of the Matriarch.
Inside the lair, you’ll find the Floopsnot Queen. Fire at her glowing eye to begin the battle with her. During the first phase of the fight, keep shooting at the yellow boils on her body. These are her weak spots. The grappling hook will help you climb onto her body and reach each of the yellow boils.
Shoot her main glowing eye once again to proceed to phase two of the fight. In this phase, amber will appear over her weak points. You’ll need to grab the Blight Bombs nearby and clear the accumulated amber to reveal the weak spots. Then, shoot at the spots again. Repeat the same process to get the Floopsnot Queen into her third phase and use the bombs to clear any amber.
After defeating the Queen, you’ll get an extract. Carry this back to the Habitat and use the 3D printer to create the Blight Bomb Stabilizer using this special extract.

How To Use the Blight Bomb Stabilizer?
The Blight Bomb Stabilizer allows you to carry Blight Bombs with you. With these bombs, you can melt amber and open up any blocked passages. You’ll need these Blight Bombs to solve some of the puzzles in the game, including some of the later Shrine challenges.
