How To Get Oxygen Pumps in Rimworld Odyssey
You can unlock Oxygen Pumps by researching the Orbital tech project from the Research section. You need a high-tech research bench to perform this research. In addition to Oxygen Pumps, the Orbital tech project also unlocks other essential orbital utilities like Orbital scanner, Vac barrier, Vacsuit, and Vacsuit helmet. Once researched, you can construct an Oxygen Pump using 100 Steel and 2 Components.
How To Use Oxygen Pumps in Rimworld Odyssey
Oxygen Pumps pressurize a room, reducing its vacuum levels and producing breathable air. However, they require power to operate. Since they work only inside a sealed room, ensure that there are no openings where you install the pump. Although Oxygen Pumps provide air within enclosed rooms, it won’t transfer between rooms. So you will need to construct multiple Oxygen Pumps for different rooms, where larger rooms may require more than one. Installing them near airlocks allows your pawns to remove suits without risking vacuum damage. You can also uninstall Oxygen pumps and relocate them as needed.
