RoadCraft is a pseudo-sandbox that lets you fulfil your construction fantasies. The game’s gameplay mechanics allow players to rebuild areas struck by natural calamities. The game makes you feel like a construction worker participating in disaster management. Each vehicle also operates differently. Each of them has unique mechanics and different controls, keeping players engaged.

From driving scout vehicles to working with heavy-duty machinery and building roads over damaged terrains, your objectives are meticulous and time-consuming. There isn’t a single task in the game that can’t be completed without your constant focus and attention to detail.

To make matters worse, Saber Interactive’s construction simulator not only requires hours of concentration to complete objectives but also has no manual save option. You can wipe away all of your progress if you aren’t smart with your saves and quit the game without triggering the autosave.

When RoadCraft Autosaves Your Game

RoadCraft will automatically save your progress after the following:

  • Completing the main objectives assigned to you.
  • Delivering materials to your targeted location.
  • There is also an autosave trigger while travelling between different biomes, but it isn’t always reliable.

Complete All Your Objectives

Do not return to the hub too early! Make sure all your main objectives are complete. You will miss out on all your saved progress in RoadCraft if you don’t hit the autosave trigger.

You can also drive off to a nearby safe zone or base to trigger an autosave.

Coop Sessions

You and your friends are allowed to choose the save file you want to use during the coop sessions. At the end of the sessions, the joining player can choose to keep their original saved file or copy the progression of the host into their save.

Remember, RoadCraft has no manual save or quick save option, so make sure your game is saved after completing every major task.
