Grow a Garden is back with yet another update. The latest one is called the Trading and Cooking Event. This event is themed around cooking-related mechanics and items. One of the new additions is the cooking mechanic. Now, you can cook and submit dishes to the Chris P. NPC. This article will focus on how you can cook Prismatic Cake. Let’s learn.

Grow a Garden Cake Recipe

The Cooking Update allows players to use the Cooking Pot at the center of the main hub to create dishes from garden crops. Cakes are a key dish that can be fed to the NPC Chris P. for rewards like Gourmet Seed Packs, Gourmet Eggs, Sheckles, and cosmetics. This particular dish comes in four variants: Uncommon, Rare, Mythical, and Prismatic. Let’s first look at the recipe required for the Prismatic variant:

3 Bone Blossom + 1 Sugar Apple + 1 Banana

Uncommon Cake: 1 Strawberry + 1 Tomato + 1 Corn + 1 Apple
Rare Cake: 2 Watermelon + 2 Corn

How To Cook the Prismatic Cake

You have collected the ingredients for the Prismatic Cake recipe. Now, let’s learn how you can cook it:

First, find the Cooking Pot in the center of the map, next to Chris P.’s kitchen stand.
Use the exact ingredients for the prismatic rarity (3 Bone Blossom + 1 Sugar Apple + 1 Banana). Hold each ingredient in your inventory, approach the Cooking Pot, and press “E” to add them.
After adding all ingredients, press the green “Cook” button. Once the timer finishes, press “E” at the pot to collect the cake into your inventory.
After the cooking is done, interact with the Chris P. NPC and select “Try this food I cooked up!” to submit the dish. If it matches his craving, he will give you a reward.
