Roblox has an array of games that have unique plots. One of them is Grave/Digger. The game is set in an alternate history inspired by World War 1. It explores the conflict between two fictionalized factions – the Golden Empire and the Royal Nation. The game emphasizes strategic, slower-paced gunplay and a nearly fully mineable environment, allowing players to dig tunnels, create trenches, and conquer territories. Let’s learn how to play the game.

Complete Grave/Digger Guide

Let’s first launch the game. To start, search for Grave/Digger [BETA] and click “Play” to join a public server.

Objectives

Grave/Digger is set in an alternate WWI-inspired world where two factions, the Golden Empire and the Royal Nation, fight in underground environments. Your goal is to work with your team to capture objectives, defend positions, or eliminate enemies while leveraging the mineable terrain. Matches typically involve territorial control, with digging and building as key mechanics.

Choose Class

You can choose one of the following classes. Each class provides unique abilities:

  • Soldat: Frontline infantry with extra inventory weight and speed, throws ammo pouch to refill team ammo.
  • Rook: Engineer with a heavy pickaxe for mining and melee, builds/repairs fortifications with a hammer.
  • Mortician: Support with stim/poison tablets (heal, boost, or debilitate); throws syrettes for near-full heals.
  • Officer: Scout with faster objective capture, uses binoculars/flare for enemy marking, and whistle for team buffs.
  • Jaeger: Trap specialist with pox rounds and smokescreen bombs; headgear reduces headshot damage.
  • Lancer: Melee tank with unbreakable helmet, uses heavy lance for swings/charges, boosts team morale.
  • Vanguard: Tank with heavy shield to block charges, breaks under heavy fire, can dual-wield.

Gamemodes

Here are the currently available gamemodes in Grave/Digger:

  • Skirmish: Classic mode where each team starts with 500 tickets. Capture 1-3 points to drain enemy tickets.

  • Assault: One team defends 3 sequential points with infinite tickets; attackers have 150 tickets to capture them.

  • Train: Currently being reworked; details pending release.

  • Territory Push: Tug-of-war style with 5 points (A/B team-locked for one side, D/E for the other, C neutral). Capture C to unlock the opponent’s first point (B or D); capturing that unlocks their final point (A or E). Taking the final point triggers the enemy’s last stand with no reinforcements.
