Explore Schedule 1’s Game Mechanics that will propel you as the biggest plant and crystal dealer among your friends!

With the trend of simulation games about jobs and real life emerging triumphant in the past year, this newly released simulator takes a step outside legal boundaries. This time, you role-play the life of a distributor of herbs and flavored powders. Schedule 1 is a fun game with co-op that takes itself very seriously in its gameplay. Today, we look at Schedule 1’s game mechanics and explain everything you need to know.
Story of Schedule 1
The game begins with you broke and homeless in a new town. Your incarcerated uncle provides you with some money to start off as a herbalist and lead a fresh start. You then slowly follow the journal, complete missions, and grow your plant and powder empire to the maximum heights possible. Between you and the highest place on top, you avoid getting arrested, fight with other herbalists, hire them, and provide a healthy supply of plants and powders to your townspeople.
Grow, Harvest, and Distribute

The game’s first missions take you through planting and harvesting different types of plants. The mechanics here are very dependent on time. Time management is the most important aspect of Schedule 1. Everything that you do takes time. Managing and distributing time to tasks that you need to do is essential to always having a healthy amount of cash growing in your wallet.
Growing and Harvesting

You begin the herbalist journey by buying supplies from the hardware store downtown. In the future, any supplies that are needed will be obtainable here. Once you have everything in order, you ask your seed supplier for seed variants that unlock once you progress in the game. It is important to note that you can also buy these seeds on a loan, so you can pay them later. Even for powders, the process is somewhat similar but with different and more sophisticated tools.
Recycling Mechanic in Schedule 1

Any by-products of your herbs and powders are categorized as trash. This is meant to be disposed of in the trash can. Buy a few trash bags and then locate the nearest trash to cash collector, deposit the trash, and you will get a few dollars. This game mechanic helps you obtain some money that you need to keep your house clean. Additionally, you can also pick up trash and recycle it as a responsible citizen.
After obtaining seeds, you plant the seeds and wait for them to grow. During this time, you can gain some pocket money through garbage recycling.
Distribution

After you package your product, you need to sell it. This is done through the phone, which is an essential mechanism of Schedule 1. Once you decide on a meet-up place for your sale, provide them with the product and get cash in return. You also get to charge a certain price and negotiate during deals on the phone.
The Phone

All the important stuff in the game is done through your phone. Acquiring products, negotiations, posting them for sale, and more. The phone helps you contact businessmen and obtain more products from them. Your phone’s messaging service helps you text them and manage clients. However, certain organizations and individuals do not like your business.
Police and Rivals

As the game progresses, the police population will slowly increase, and more often than not, you will have to be on the lookout for any blue shirts. If they see you during a business transaction, you will be arrested. Plus, if you avoid arrest, that counts as a crime itself. So, if you are arrested, you can pay for the crime and be free, or go into debt to pay it back. If you avoid arrest using certain tools of violence, they will start using ranged weapons like tasers and guns.
They will do a body check where you can conceal only one item in your inventory. Anything they do not like, and you’re arrested. Additionally, they also perform vehicle checks in certain areas. So you have to be on the lookout constantly.
Rivals

There will be other herbalists who will be competing for customers as well. You will engage them in gunfights and deal with them so that they don’t take away your customers. Also, maintaining the quality of your products and making sure that the correct products are delivered help in client satisfaction so they also stay loyal to you. Because customer satisfaction and relation is a thing in this game.
Keeping Your Customers Satisfied in Schedule 1

Make sure that your plants and powders are of the highest quality, as they deeply affect how you build relations with your clients. A couple of deals later, they will refer you to their friends. This chain of networking lets you obtain more customers and expand your business slowly.
Hiring People in Schedule 1

One man cannot do business alone. Especially in your line, where you need trusted people to do the job for you. In Schedule 1, you have the option to hire dealers of your product after you unlock enough of an NPC’s connections. These people will do the job for you while you pay them a salary. They save you time, and you are also at a low risk of getting arrested in the game.
Stores and Supplies

Around town, you will see several buildings and shops that will provide you with whatever you need. The hardware store, the chemical plant, and more. Plus, you can always upgrade to a better room once your business starts catching up. As the game progresses and you level up, these stores will unlock products that help you either increase your business or help you. But you can always buy a big TV for your living room as well.
These are the game mechanics that are important in the game. Schedule 1’s game mechanics are a bit tedious at times, but it is definitely built on a solid foundation. Since the game has just been recently released, let’s give them some time to take in feedback and improve on the next patch.
