There was an outage incident in 2011 that was caused by a data breach in the PlayStation Network. This cyberattack leaked information from over 77 million accounts, and Sony changed its whole security system to protect users from future attacks. Sony even gave free games, such as Infamous (PS3), God of War HD (PS3), and other games as compensation rewards.
