Who Is Shroud?
Michael Grzesiek joined Cloud9’s Professional CS:GO Team on September 1, 2014. However, on August 16, 2017, he revealed that he would be leaving the Cloud9 team, which at the time included n0thing, Skadoodle, autimatic, Stewie2k, and himself, but would continue to serve as a substitute on the ‘bench.’ Shroud is currently a full-time Twitch streamer, with the majority of his live streams involving PUBG and other Battle Royale titles.
On January 3, 2025, Shroud announced Fragathon, a Twitch subathon that began on January 4 and would last the entire month. Michael noted in his announcement that since his father died of cancer last year, he has been looking for ways to help others in similar situations. Moreover, all revenue from the subathon would go to charity. However, due to the tragic California fires, Shroud had to temporarily postpone the Fragathon. Shroud was able to raise $100K in just four days during his charity stream.
Thank you guys for helping me raise 100k! We’re only 4 days in so excited to see how the rest of the month goes pic.twitter.com/9sAIdC84Kp
