Mutahar, better known as SomeOrdinaryGamers, was one of the influencers mentioned in Noah Samsen’s video about the coverage of the Israel-Palestine war. On March 11, 2025, Noah uploaded a lengthy video criticizing how YouTube and streaming platforms have handled discussions on the conflict. In the video, he named several YouTubers and streamers, labeling them as “genocide supporters” based on their coverage.

Mutahar stated that after his team reviewed clips from the video, they could not find a clip of him in support. The YouTuber mentioned that he will be exploring legal action and possibly suing Noah for defamation.

“In regards to Noah and his defamation. I never want to financially harm or bring a lawsuit to a creator, but slander like this is far too extreme and unchecked which is at this time we are exploring legal action against Noah for Defamation/Slander.”

Noah Samsen is a popular YouTuber known for his commentary videos on politics and internet culture. He has over 541K subscribers on YouTube, where he accused several internet personalities, including SomeOrdinaryGamers, of being “pro-genocide.” Since his video dropped, Ethan Klein and Destiny have also responded to the video. Mutahar mentioned in his response that he would normally avoid engaging in this type of discourse.

However, the backlash from Noah Samsen’s video has impacted his business and even “bled into” his personal life. He emphasized that, despite not being deeply knowledgeable about political matters, he has always stood against injustices.

“In the last couple weeks, A YouTuber Noah Samson has uploaded a few videos labeling me as a “genocide supporter” in the title and thumbnail of the video. Today me and the team sat down to watch them and could not find a single clip of me supporting the Israeli government or any of its genocidal practice. Normally I’d not engage with this discourse but this has affected my Business and has bleed into my personal life.”

What Did SomeOrdinaryGamers Say About Noah Samsen’s Video Previously?

After Noah’s video was dropped on YouTube, Twitch streamer HasanAbi was quick to react. Hasan’s reaction gained significant traction across social media. It also caught SomeOrdinaryGamers’ attention when he responded to the allegations firsthand. Hasan also posted the video’s link on his Instagram story, which featured Mutahar’s face on the thumbnail. Muta refused all the allegations and stated that he never defended the genocide:

“I get watching other people’s videos is all you’re really good at, but try vetting out slander before promoting @hasanthehun. I have never defended (or “backed”) the Israeli genocide on innocent Gazans. Never will I ever.”

Notably, SomeOrdinaryGamers returned to X after over five years to respond. He further addressed Hasan’s claims that Muta tried to cover the war as “slop drama.” Both HasanAbi and SomeOrdinaryGamers went back and forth on X after the latter’s return to the Elon Musk-owned platform. Mutahar’s tweet responding to Hasan stated:

“yes I do admit to not being an expert on the topic didn’t cover it as a “drama” since it isn’t one, serious situations with dead people and attacks happening every day. I just don’t downplay r*pes and sugarcoat violent organizations like you. also didn’t defend asmon in vid”
