In this Split Fiction guide, we shall go over how to complete the Dragon Souls mission in Chapter 5, Rise of the Dragon Realm.
Split Fiction’s Chapter 5, the Rise of the Dragon Realm, throws Zoe and Mio into a fallen kingdom of dragons. As the beloved duo make their way across this once glorious kingdom, they learn how the dragons met their end – by the actions of the Megalith. This corrupt dragon stalks the duo across the remains of the kingdom, with the duo barely surviving the chapter.
As the duo make their way past the Dragon Slayer and the Craft Temple, they have their closest call yet and are constantly targeted by the Megalith, narrowly escaping the corrupt dragon into a cave. It is here they notice that the kingdom is more than what meets the eye.
This majestic cave harbors the souls of the once dominant dragons, and it is now up to Zoe and Mio to uncover its mystery. How To Complete the Dragon Souls Mission
The First Dragon Soul
As the Megalith chases you into the cave towards the end of the Craft Temple section, the cave will fall in on itself, blocking the dragon’s path. Follow the path to a dragon statue and destroy the metal beam at its base to reveal a switch.
Press the switch, and the statue will drop a ball, which you can use to blast open the blocked door. Head down the newly revealed path, and you will stumble across a cracked egg. Break this egg open, and a dragon soul will fly out. This will light up one of the four dragon heads at the center of the cave.

The Second Dragon Soul
Next, take a right to the adjacent area and hit the switch at the base of the dragon statue for the exploding ball. Shoot the statues with the emerald green mouths nearby to reveal a pinball-esque pathway, and push the ball down this path. Detonate the ball at the end to open the blocked door.
Ahead, you will find another exploding ball and more pinball-esque paths. Drag the ball along these paths to detonate and open the next blocked door. You will find another cracked egg with a dragon soul past this door. Freeing the soul will light up the second dragon head.
The Third Dragon Soul
Continue on the newly unveiled path, with one player climbing up across the gap and the other following the road below. At the top, there are three dragon statues that act as switches. Interacting with them creates paths down below for the other player to move.
Help the other player get across and reach the switch on the other side. Once the other player hits the switch, a new path will be revealed for you, which you can take to reunite and reach the final egg. Free the dragon’s soul to light up the third head in the cave.

The Fourth Dragon Soul
Take the gate on the right, with one player rolling down and the other taking the ramp leading above. Assuming you’re the one on top, you have to glide across the gargoyles ahead of you. However, the gap is too large but the player below helps you with the bell.
The player below has to aim the bell alongside your path, which will create a force field for you to stand on. Use the bell’s help to get across the gaps and reach the final egg. Release the soul and complete the mission.
