The Waste Depot mission is a sub-level in Chapter 6: Isolation of Split Fiction. The mission features the challenge of crossing a waste depot and finally reaching a trash container. Overview of the Waste Depot Mission
The mission begins with Mio and Zoe sliding down a closed pipe. At the end of this pipe, two openings separate the two characters. Due to this, they would not see each other, though they could hear one another. Use Mio’s ability to hack into a vacuum cleaner, allowing her to pass beneath a platform and reach a toxic sludge area. Use nearby planks to cross over the sludge and land on a bridge. Once there, you will need to wait for Zoe to catch up.
Zoe is dropped into the waste, where she must swim up. Follow the path, and eventually, Zoe will reach the bridge where Mio is waiting. Use Zoe’s magnetic ability to lower the platforms, allowing Mio to walk across them until she reaches a button. Pressing this button will release a latch, leading Mio to a set of poles. Hop from one pole to another until you spot the extended arm of a machine.
Zoe will rotate the machine’s arm, and Mio will have to walk across it to reach the side wall where the letter A4 is written. Mio should grapple onto the side rails and hack into a nearby floating device. Meanwhile, Zoe will jump over the fence and land on it. Zoe will open the side door, allowing Mio to steer through the sludge toward the slope.
Climb the slope, and you will find the fifth bench for the A Tale of Two Besties Achievement/Trophy. Hack into the trash bin and allow Zoe to enter. Once both of you are inside, just close the door to wrap up the sub-chapter.
