Learn how to beat Rader after he drops you in the volcanic area in our guide for the Fight a God mission in Split Fiction: Chapter 8 (Split).
The Fight a God mission will begin once players finish the Cross Section mission in Chapter 8 (Split). We will cover all of Rader’s moveset, including the best strategy to defeat him in our Split Fiction guide.
Fight a God
Rader fights with a giant sword in a volcanic area. His moveset consists of wide horizontal sword swings that can be jumped over. In addition, he can also do a vertical slam that will be telegraphed on the ground. After this vertical slam, a fire attack will traverse from both sides of the blade, which needs to be jumped over.
After a while, some sparks appear in the arena that must be collected. Collect all of these fragments while dodging the attacks mentioned above. After collecting enough sparks, activate the glitch and proceed to the next phase.
In the second phase, Rader attacks with Shark projectiles while lines of fire move across the arena. Dodge these attacks accordingly. Next, Rader will slam his trident, causing a fire wave to move across the arena. Players must jump over this while making sure that they do not get clipped by the vertical fire line.
Finally, in the third phase, he will hurl meteors that will leave behind a trail of fire. In addition, he can also fire missiles that will be telegraphed on the arena. Also, there is a spaceship that will continue firing at players. Remember that these attacks will repeat until Rader is defeated, marking the end of our guide and the Fight a God mission in Chapter 8 (Split) of Split Fiction.
