Spotify is one of the most used music streaming services in the world. Unfortunately, the music streaming giant is currently facing a major issue as many customers are experiencing server crashes throughout the globe.

Spotify Faces Massive Issue as Servers Go Down

As per reports, various users around the world kept receiving an error and a message saying, “Something went wrong. Try again” when they tried to access the app’s library. Moreover, this issue seems to be affecting both the Desktop, Mobile, Web, and the Smart Device versions of Spotify equally.

The official Spotify Status account on X has released a post addressing the situation and their response to the issue.

“We’re aware of some issues right now and are checking them out!”

Additionally, the reports have also stated that most of the users facing this particular issue have voiced their complaints from Europe. However, many customers in the US have also been affected.

Unfortunately, we do not know the exact reason for this outage or when the company will be able to restore its services. Many have suspected that the streaming company is facing a security breach, but Spotify has firmly denied this accusation while saying that they are working to resolve this issue as soon as possible.

Lastly, it is important to note that this sudden outage happened precisely one week after a similar but shorter issue. Spotify has an estimated 675 million users around the globe, and 263 million of them are subscribers. The numbers make them a titan in their respective industry. So naturally, such an issue as this is concerning to many.
