In Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl, the “An Act of Mercy” mission stands out as a unique and morally challenging quest. This mission is unlocked after completing the “Dark Times” quest. During this quest, you meet Kaymanov, also known as The Doctor. The Doctor will task you with retrieving a Monolith device without resorting to violence against the Monolith faction members you encounter.

How To Complete an Act of Mercy Mission in Stalker 2
Before starting the An Act of Mercy mission in the game, you need to make sure you are stocked up on energy drinks. These drinks are important as you need to move quickly and quietly throughout the mission. Once the mission starts, you need to follow the yellow marker on your compass to locate the cable tunnel. You can then look for a white building that houses the entrance to the tunnel. Go inside and head downstairs to find a door.
Upon entering through the door, you will encounter your first enemy of the mission, a member of the Monolith faction. Since you cannot employ violence, you need to quickly run past him to avoid being detected. After sprinting past the first enemy, you need to head toward the next room.
Here, you will find the entrance to a tunnel with cables and a metal bridge. You will also find two enemies stationed in this location. You need to run to the left side of the tunnel to avoid the first. After doing so, you can then crouch and enter the vent on the right-hand side to move past the second enemy.
On the other side of the vent, you will find the infirmary. Here, you need to crouch or run past the guards and follow the cables to locate the Monolithian device. In the next room, you can see a military doctor praying. You need to take the device and run away. Be sure to drink an energy drink to regain stamina and retrace your path coming in to escape and complete the An Act of Mercy mission in STALKER 2: Heart of Chornobyl.
