Armor Overview in STALKER 2
The Armor is STALKER 2 protects players from damage like enemy attacks or environmental hazards like chemical, thermal, PSI, radiation, and electricity. In STALKER, it’s crucial to equip the right Armor before jumping into any combat or any danger. Each Armor offers different levels of protection against radiation, anomalies, and other threats. The main difference between Armor and Suits in STALKER 2 is that Armor includes body Armor along with the masks but Suits only include only body Armor.
The Armor you equip will define how well you can survive in dangerous environments and mutants. Players can purchase Armor from the right traders for a pretty penny. There’s a free Armor at the starting area that can keep players away from bleeding. Move to the Old Mill area just east of Zalissya to get the free Debut Suit.
STALKER 2 offers different types of Armor for all the players out there that they can equip right after launching the game. Armor types are crucial aspects of the game because they protect players from dangerous environments and radiation, bullets, and anomalous threats. The Ruby Exosuit is found in the Enerhetyk Palace of Culture in the Prypiat region. Once you reach the building, throw a grenade through the gap on the right. Move inside the building after the detonation happens. Take the stairs to reach the sports court, located on the second floor. Take the stairs from the corner of the room and enter the room to your right. You will find the Exosuit in the room.
B-Tier
The B-Tier List Armors are the ones that you will be using for the most hours in your gameplay. These include some of the early or midgame Armor. It is best that you upgrade these Armor to enhance their potential which can advantage you in many encounters.

This suit is found is Cordon in the northwest edge of the area. During completing the Legends of the Zone mission, you will go through the room with a red light over it. Pass through a room filled with CTR monitors and turn right to take the stairs. Turn to the right room and you will find the Exoskeleton on the table to your right.
Berill-5M Armored Suit

Designed for army special forces, this specialized Armored suit is an extensive upgrade of the PSZ-5 series. You can get the Seva-1 Armor from the west of Duga or from the Yantar. The Yantar is the best option to utilize but you can’t reach there at the early stages of the game. You have a better chance of getting the one in Duga. Make your way to the Duga and you can see a walled barrier guarded by IPSF soldiers. Move inside from the back entrance to get inside the Arms Depot building. There you can see the Seva-1 Suit guarded by a Burer mutant.
The other way to obtain the Seva-1 Suit is to get it from the Yantar Production Complex. Move to the location and take the stairs. Mount yourself on the railing and jump on the pipe that leads into the building. Simply follow the path to get inside the building from the board and grab the Seva-1 suit near the stash.
PSZ-20W Convoy Suit

This suit represents a new generation in the Personal Protection System series of Armored suits. Drawing from the experience of its predecessors, it was developed in record time to meet the specific demands of the Ward. The best suit in STALKER 2 if you’re not looking for psi protection. While the right artifact is equipped you will not feel weird about lower Radiation Protection. It grants you a passive of enhancing the Stamina Regeneration by 5% allowing you to be more mobile in a fight.

The C-Tier List of includes decent Armor that you will use in the early and mid-game. You can upgrade them to enhance their capabilities to some extent but we do not recommend spending any money for the upgrades. Because you can switch to better Armor and upgrade them for a higher chance of survival during combat.
SEVA-D Suit

Compared to the original SEVA suit, the main distinction of the Duty version lies in its integration with the Armored vests of the PSZ-5 series. Mercenary Suit

High molecular polyethylene plates and aramid padding not only sound futuristic but provide excellent protection from high-corrosion Zone weapons. A mercenary Suit is the best Suit to equip because it protects players from radiation in zones and ballistic attacks. This Suit looks stunning due to a camo pattern and OMON-style camo. The protection stats of the Mercenary Suit is relatively high especially physical and radiation stats.
