What is the timeline of events in Starfield?
Starfield’s story is set to take place in the year 2330 – a distant, but still imaginable future where humanity has developed settlements on other planets. In the run up to the game’s launch there aren’t a lot of important setting dates we know about, but check out below for a brief list of what we know so far!
The first new intellectual property developed by Bethesda Game Studios in 25 years, Starfield is a hotly anticipated AAA single player, action role playing game which takes place across the vastness of space. From environments to game mechanics, crafting and space flight, Starfield has a lot of potential to keep gamers busy for years to come. Originally scheduled for release in late 2022, Starfield’s new release date is now set for September 6, 2023!
Starfield Timeline
Currently, there isn’t a lot we know about exact dates and timelines in the Starfield universe. Here are a handful which have been revealed in recent trailers and gameplay reveals:
- 2161—The United Colonies are established
- 2167—Akila City is established by Solomon Coe
- 2310—The Colony War begins
- 2329/2330—The Colony War concludes
- 2330—The events of Starfield begin
