Top 5 Tips and Tricks for Wukong in Supervive

Wukong is a character that is hard to master but equally rewarding once you learn some important details about him. Here are five of them:
1. Use Wukong’s Mobility

Wukong is currently one of the fastest characters in the game if you properly use his skills. The Monkey King’s dash is special because when used against a tree, he perches on it. Additionally, perching resets his dash cooldown, allowing you to dash infinitely on trees in a forest area. You can also chain the perch passive with other abilities like his first skill, which initially gives you a boost in height and speed when used.
2. Poke Your Enemies

Wukong is a poke-type damage dealer. He excels in team fights but won’t perform as well alone. His entire playstyle revolves around dealing chip damage to enemies and then retreating to let your team handle the aftermath. Use his high mobility to confuse enemies and create openings for your team to rush in.
Do note that Wukong has higher than average health when it comes to damage dealers. Therefore, it is much easier to enter and exit fights without risking a knockdown during the fast-paced gameplay.
3. Dunk Everyone

You can use Wukong’s first ability, which extends his Black Iron Rod to slam enemies in front of him and dunk players into the void. Dunking involves hitting enemies flying over the void to break their glider and cause them to fall to their deaths. When upgraded to max level, Wukong’s first skill has a very large range, making it effective for dunking late-game players.
4. Dodge Any Attack

Wukong’s third ability allows him to transform into a fake tree, which he can chain into a spin attack. The main use of this ability is timing the tree transformation to avoid damage, saving you from high-damage ultimates once per use. This transformation can also be combined with the ultimate, which creates copies of Wukong that can mimic any of your abilities.
In addition to the transformation skill, the ultimate also provides a second layer of invulnerability frames, which can be used to mitigate incoming damage from other attacks for a small amount of time.

5. Increase Your Haste

With the new Armory feature, you can equip Wukong with items that boost his Ability Haste. Increasing this stat reduces ability cooldowns, allowing Wukong to deal more damage by chaining skills and attacks. Recommended items include:
- Relic: Isochron’s Timestaff
- Grips: Chrono Gauge
- Kicks: Rocket High-Tops
