The Tempest Dynasty is one of the three important factions in Tempest Rising. This real-time strategy game is set in the year 1997, during a global nuclear war. What Is the Tempest Dynasty Faction in Tempest Rising?
This faction specializes in overwhelming their foes with barrages of firepower. Their durability is not to be overlooked either. They can switch their production process from a standard rate to an accelerated one. This enhances the production of units and boosts the capabilities of nearby buildings during combat.
Upgrading buildings is essential to access higher-tier units, which then provide additional support. This includes features like barracks that can heal infantry or a machine shop that gains access to missile launchers for defense. They can deploy three combat plans that improve their units and production rates. With the help of a construction yard, a single plan can be executed, so the more construction yards you have, the better.
The plans include the Logistic Plan, Martial Plan, and Security Plan:
- Logistic Plan: Harvesters and Tempest Rigs move 10% faster. Building construction speed increases by 10%
- Martial plan: All units have an increase of 7% attack and 10% damage resistance to rockets and explosives.
- Security Plan: Unit and building costs will reduce by 5%. Repair improves by 15%. Radar station vision radius will increase by 30%.
