Welcome to The Harvester – ESO Stamina Templar Leveling Guide. Yes, I deleted a Veteran Rank 14 so I could start all over with a stamina Templar on Daggerfall Covenant faction. This guide series will cover everything from level 1 to VR14 (16) with end game PvE and PvP builds. Bookmark this sucker!

Objective
The idea behind this build, race and combination of skills is to create a high damage Stamplar (stamina Templar) capable of completing any dungeon, trial or DSA with high damage. The Biting Harvester is PvE centric first but can do some serious jabbing in PvP. I’ll have leveling builds complete with end game setup to help you throughout the leveling process and end game. Here’s some general leveling tips to help you reach 10 asap (CLICK HERE).
Should you play this build?
+ Insane single target and AoE Damage
+ Good self heals even for stamina
– Lacks mobility
– One dimension until end game
Non Vet Leveling

Priority Skills
- Aedric Spear – The mega ability for the Stamplar is Biting Jabs but once you get this continue to level the skill line for important passives.
- Dawn’s Wrath – Power of the Light is the only ability we’re really after in this skill line, but Reflective Light is great early on until you get armor passives.
- Restoring Light – We prioritize this skill line only until we get access to Repentance (unmorphed Radiant Aura). This ability will change your life!
- Bow – Leave the bow alone until Veteran Ranks. However, if you’re having trouble the bows distance makes leveling easy mode.
- Two-Handed – Obtaining Momentum than Rally is our number one focus for this leveling build. Once we get that than we switch to Dual Wielding.
- Dual Wield – We want two abilities Steel Tornado for AoE and Quick Cloak for speed and later to proc Ravager gear then remaining skill points use towards passives.
1-10
10-25
25 to VR 1
Important Passives
- Aedric Spear – BURNING LIGHT, this procing makings Biting Jabs the hardest hitter in Update 7 (please don’t nerf). Then Balance Warrior for 5% more weapon power!
- Dawn’s Wrath – This line isn’t too important for stamina but extra ultimate via Prism and lower cost via Restoring Spirit is worth maxing it early.
- Restoring Light – The only worth while passive is Mending early on though I don’t put any points into this until Aedric Spear is maxed.
- Bow – Leave until end game, it’ll matter.
- Two-Handed – We’re not really using Two-Handed for damage but a major buff for weapon damage, so I only prioritize Balance Blade (2x).
- Dual Wield – Eventually we’ll want to take all of these, but Controlled Fury for cost than Twin Blade and Blunt for damage.
Tips and Miscellaneous
- Race – 1) Imperial for max stamina and health 1a) Redguard for better sustained, 2) Bosmer for massive regeneration
- Attributes – All stamina, keep it easy.
- Vamp/WW – In the update I don’t won’t have room for this on my bar so I won’t be using it. If you play a WW/Vamp that will be your own build.
- Mundus – Warrior for more weapon damage.
- Weapons – Two-Hander first, at level 15 Dual Wield, end game Bow.
- Armor – All medium for max regeneration and reduced cost.
- Gear – Three piece Ashen Grip and five piece Hunding’s Rage (craftable).
- Food – Bi-stat for max stamina.
- Health needed – Since you’ll be in the middle of the enemies, try to get around 18-20,000 health which shouldn’t be a problem running Imperial.
Champion Points
Consider this picture has 300 champion points to use (100 in each tree) and the numbers equal percentages of what you have. So if you have 150 CP, focus 75% on Might FIRST.
- Blue (the Mage) – Mighty first for more Biting Jab damage and we can get into Thaumaturge later for more Burning Light Damage (thanks FearTurbo for tip).
- Red (the Warrior) – I just do a 50/50% split between Elemental Defender and Hardy.
- Green (the Serpent) – I do a 60/40% split between reduced cost and regeneration though this could change drastically depending on race and content (PvP/PvE).

Maelstrom Build
No Death VMA Video (Flawless Conqueror)
Skills
Two Handed – Main damage bar
- Critical Rush (morph of Critical Charge | Two-handed skill line) – A gap closer that procs a DoT with our Maelstrom Maul.
- Rally (morph of Momentum | Two-handed skill line) – Self heal and our Major Brutality buff.
- Repentance (morph of Restoring Aura | Restoring Light) – Passive resource regeneration and heals off of corpses for resources.
- Biting Jabs (morph Puncturing Sweeps | Aedric Spear skill line) – Our single target damage ability that also gives us Major Savagery.
- Executioner (morph of Reverse Slash | Two-handed skill line) – Execute ability meant for targets at 25% or lower.
- Flawless Dawnbreaker (morph of Dawnbreaker | Fighters Guild skill line) – Passive 8% weapon damage and a decent ultimate if you need to kill something.
Bow – Buffs and AoE
- Purifying Ritual (morph of Cleansing Ritual | Restoring Light skill line) – A cheap heal over time with the benefit of removing negative effects AND increasing our healing done by 25% (major mending). I can’t tell you how great this ability is for survival and a most have for independent game play like VMA.
- Arrow Barrage (morph of Volley | Bow skill line) – Who knew this ability rocks as an AoE? After getting Maelstrom bow and trying it with the next ability, it’s powerful.
- Razor Caltrops (morph of Caltrops | Alliance War Assault skill line) – A true must have for stamina builds even though you need to PvP to get it. Massive AoE DoT and snare.
- FLEX – Evil Hunter (morph of Expert Hunter | Fighters Guild skill line) – Major Savagery just for having it slotted but also effective against undead and daedroth. I slot here for round 1, 6, 8 and 9.
- Binding Javelin (morph of Piercing Javelin | Aedric skill line) – A ranged DPS ability with a stun that can be useful control ability.
- Resolving Vigor (morph of Vigor | Alliance War Assault skill line) – An extra heal ability that also requires PvP.
- Shooting Star (morph of Comet | Mages Guild skill line) – I like this instead of Nova for low cost though both are good to use.
- FLEX – Solar Prison (morph of Nova | Dawn’s Wrath skill line) – When going for no death or Flawless Conquer I do substitute in Nova purely for damage mitigation.
Gear
STATS GOAL = 18 to 19k health (I go 20k on no death runs), 35k stamina if Imperial and 4k weapon damage buffed.
- Engine Guardian – Great for resources, healing and corpses can be repentance. Head can be farmed in Darkshade Cavern, shoulders through Undaunted Pledges. A substitute could be a 3 piece combo for Night Silence (helm, shoulders, weapons).
- For speed runs I swap this in for Valkyin Skoria for a lot more damage with my DoTs.
- Hunding’s Rage – Crafted set that is simply a must have for nearly all stamina builds.
- Agility Set – Found in Imperial City or guild traders, a good substitute can be Endurance for much cheaper.
Champion Points
The Champion Points system has been updated and I use a new formula for my Blue or damage layout.
Asarye’s CP layout here has worked for me. Try that or a simple split between Thuamaterg, Mighty and Precise Strikes.

Skills and Passives
Dual Wield – Damage bar besides executes
- Flying Dagger (morph of Hidden Blade | Dual Wield skill line) – Give us needed range for double melee and can be used for 10 seconds of Major Brutality.
- Rending Slash (morph of Twin Slashes | Dual Wield skill line) – Buff, DoT, Spam and it works great. This thing can tick for 5k damage and can increase our DPS. Though if you want to keep it ultra simple, just jabs.
- Repentance (morph of Restoring Aura | Restoring Light skill line) – The usual zapping corpses is great, but just having this sucker slotted gives us 10% stamina recovery
- Biting Jabs (morph of Puncturing Strikes | Aedric Spear skill line) – Our one button win. Click this, and press it extra hard for extra damage (that’s a joke).
- Steel Tornado (morph of Whirlwind | Dual Wield skill line) – Best AoE in the game, but only use when facing more than 3 enemies as Jabs is generally better.
Two-Handed – Execute, buffs and self healing.
- Toppling Charge (morph of Focus Charge | Aedric Spear skill line) – Consider this a flex spot BUT you need at least one Aedric Spear skill due to Piercing Spear passive. I like this for movement speed but Spear Shards is great for group utility.
- Rally (morph of Momentum | Two-Handed skill line) – Our main source of Major Brutality that last over 30 seconds and can be used for a self heal.
- Resolving Vigor (morph of Vigor | Alliance War Assault skill line) – Big time self heals but it uses your main resource, stamina. Swap this out for Breath of Life if don’t have the skill (PvP skill line).
- Evil Hunter (morph of Expert Hunter | Fighters Guild skill line) – Critical bonus for having it slotted (Jabs gives us that on first bar) and procs off any mob as well.
- Executioner (morph of Reverse Slash | Two-Handed skill line) – Our finisher which should be used at or around 25% health, specifically on bosses.
- Ice Comet (morph of Meteor | Mages Guild skill line) – Probably the best ultimate for pure DPS and it can be used often as a Templar.
Gear
Gear idea from Essa
- 5 Hunding’s Rage craftable set with everything we need for DPS.
- 4 Night Mother’s on Dual Wield set for more critical and weapon damage.
- 3 Agility for huge damage even with healthy.
Champion Points
501 Champion Point Setup
- The Tower | Warlord – PvE I focus on reduced cost as Templar’s can use Repentance to restore stamina or Spear Shards for 25% max stamina.
- The Lover | Mooncalf – Stamina recovery for maximum sustained for the rest of the Thief tree.
- Atronach | Blade Expert – A small amount of points goes a long way doing medium weaves in between jabs.
- The Ritual | Thamagturge – This pumps up our Evil Hunter and Burning Light procs and goes a long way.
- The Ritual | Precise Strikes – Another boost to our critical strike damage that synergies well with our gear.
- The Ritual | Mighty – All weapon attacks, all damage, pump this up.
- The Steed | Spell Shield – Helps keep us in the fight especially with a lot of spell damage.
- The Steed | Medium Armor Focus – More armor and spell resist adds up.
- The Lady | Hardy – Poison and magic damage are prevalent in the new dungeon and this helps mitigate it.
- The Lady | Elemental Defender – A must have for White Gold Tower.
Misc
- Race Choice – 1) Redguard for best sustained 2) Imperial for something tankier 3) Orc for burst and speed.
- Werewolf or Vampire – None if strictly PvE.
- Attributes – Reach 18,000 health for the new content, 20,000 if you’re unfamiliar with the dungeons. Rest go all stamina so 64 points.
- Mundus Stone – Shadow or more critical damage with all divines gives us 18.3% critical damage, combined with CP, we hit EXTREMELY hard.
- Food and Drink – Go bi-stat stamina and health for max stats.

Skills
Two Handed (Sword)
- Critical Rush (morph of Critical Charge | Two Handed skill line) – A solid gap closer that hits very hard. Combine this with Quick Cloak for very fast speed.
- Rally (morph of Momentum | Two Handed skill line) – The main source of Major Brutality that must be kept up at all times (or via potion). Recast for a powerful self heal.
- Evil Hunter (morph of Expert Hunter | Fighters Guild skill line) – Our main source of Major Savagery and a chance to do damage on every mob (extra on daedric).
- Blazing Spear (morph of Spear Shards | Aedric Spear skill line) – Each bar needs to have an Aedric Spear skill on its bar for the passive Piercing Spear. This is a great choice for synergy, stun and range.
- Repentance (morph of Restoring Aura | Restoring Light skill line) – Use this ability if you 1) do not have the Master Greatsword or 2) do not have a Templar using it. A true most have for any Templar.
- Executioner (morph of Reverse Slash | Two Handed skill line) – If you have 1 and 2, go with Executioner as a stamina based finisher that should be used around 25% health.
- Ice Comet (morph of Meteor | Mages Guild skill line) – I use this over Nova for pure damage and it looks like Update 7 gives Ice Comet a damage boost over Shooting Star.
Dual Wield (Daggers)
- Flying Dagger (morph of Hidden Blade | Dual Wield skill line) – A nasty range damage ability that comes with a Major Brutality buff in Update 7. This is how we get around NOT using the bow for double melee setup.
- Quick Cloak (morph of Blade Cloak | Dual Wield skill line) – Speed, AoE reduction and a good source of damage makes Quick Cloak a must have buff to maintain. It also procs Ravager gear too.
- Evil Hunter (morph of Expert Hunter | Fighters Guild skill line) – Same as above.
- Biting Jabs (morph of Puncturing Strikes | Aedric Spear skill line) – The MONSTER source of damage! Learn to cast this with a medium weave for our main source of damage.
- Steel Tornado (morph of Whirlwind | Dual Wield skill line) – The best AoE in the game is back and still useful for this build.
- Flawless Dawnbreaker (morph of Dawnbreaker | Fighters Guild skill line) – 8% Weapon Damage is too good to pass up on our main DPS bar.
Passives
Most Important
- Aedric Spear – Piercing Spear and Balanced Warrior
- Dawn’s Wrath – Restoring Spirit
- Restoring Light – Mending
- Two Handed – Heavy Weapons, Balanced Blade and Battle Rush
- Dual Wield – All
- Medium Armor – All
- Heavy Armor – Everything but Bracing
- Fighters Guild – Slayer, Banished the Wicked and Skilled Tracker
- Mages Guild – Everlasting Magic and Might of the Guild
- Undaunted – Undaunted Command and Mettle VERY IMPORTANT
- Racial – All
- Crafting – Alchemy Medicinal Use VERY IMPORTANT
Gear

Parses and Performance

Misc
- Attributes – all stamina
- Race – 1) Redguard (better sustained) 2) Imperial (tougher) 3) Khajiit (burst and sustained)
- Vampire/Werewolf – I’m a Vampire for PvP reasons though I DO NOT recommend it for strictly PvE. Werewolf is useless if you don’t slot ultimate so no to that either.
- Mundus Stone – Warrior

Oh yeah baby was just fixing to roll a templar, was looking at omega but I’ll hold off to see this one instead… looking forward to it!!!
Yo deltia want to make a new stamina temp so great timing on this build. Quick question, what race are you, thanks.
Imperial all the way.
Deltia, can you create a Templar tank build? Thank you.
Hear hear… I also would love a Templar tank build!!!
Is this build still viable with the recent change made to the ravagers set?
Oh yes, I still love Ravager.
Alright then I guess I know what I’m building next then.
Thanks
I’m impirial magica templer. I’ve seen your build and changed it to go for this guideline. Only one problem. I’ve like 2k weapon damage. I have the rings of agilty and necklace. So I don’t know what’s wrong.
Hey dude, could u tell me if this build is viable on console(ps4) atm? not sure what patch its in haven’t played in a while, cheers in advance!
Yes no difference besides controller.
Hi Amazing deltias i have a question ((sorry my english bad)): wich potions do you use in Maelstorm arena?thancks a lot for this amazing builds Awsome!
Tri Pots or Weapon Power/crit/stam potions depending on my bar setups.
does the race really matter for the build?
Is it a work in progress or is all the info in the video? I don’t see the builds, only a video at the top.
Very top said it’s work in progress.
Yeah it sure does, I swear I’m blind sometimes lol. Looking forward to this build, even though I’m a brenton I’m sure it will still work well.
How do you feel about an Orc using this build? I’m hoping with the upcoming melee changes Orcs will be actually useful
I wish the orc racials were better because I’d love to use an orc for this 🙁
Are you gonna make a healing Templar build?
Theres a healing build for Templar within the Omega build.
So in your opinion is going to have better bow dps between nightblade or Templar and what second best race besides imperial for max stamina dps
Hi Deltia, again, another quick question, for your skills are you sure that sword and board is the way to go even though you aren’t using any skills for passives from using sword and board, and you cant use any abilities for 2 hand and dual wield. love the bulid so far though
Level 1-10 he has bow. Level 10-25 he has bow and 2-handed even though it says sword and shield. Level 25+ is bow and shord and shield.
Correction there is no sword and board… it is confusing… still a work in progress. I hope he finishes it soon 🙂
I currently Have a vet 4 Templar high elf can this work on my templar? or do i have to reroll?
Reroll if you want to DO JUST THIS. Dunmer is versatile Imperial is OP.
I can’t wait until this build is complete. Was thinking of rolling into stamina once I hit v1 on my imperial Templar. Love your builds. Keep em coming.
Hi Deltia
Im looking for a race that can manage both a magicka or stamina build for templar so i can swap between both if i wanted to what would you recommend. Thanks.
Dunmer it’s perfect for that.
I was doing your old build can I still use that one and be werewolf instead or should I go to this one
Hi Deltia, I’m new of ESO, I have watched a lot of your video, and you gave me very useful info so thanks for this. I would like to make an easy first character, something useful but easy to play. Do you think that this templar build works for my purpose? Otherwise can you suggest me a good first character build?
Do you suggest this build for a first character? I’m looking for an easy and useful build for my first char.
Sorry for the double reply, feel free to delete the last one.
I am glued to this build, perfect timing for me finding it. Really hope you can add some stuff to it soon. I’m vet 1 and need some serious help with my build lol. Keep up the good work brotha!
Hey deltia, I just made an imperial Templar this morning and just noticed this build. What should I be dumping my attribute points in if I’m gonna run stam sword and shield and what secondary weapon would you recommend? Thanks
Hey Deltia on the 10-25 and the 25-50 build it has duel wield and 2 handed abilities so which do I use?
I’m sure he has the 2H abilities on there just to speed leveling up that skill line.
Here’s what he said above, “◾Two-Handed – Obtaining Momentum than Rally is our number one focus for this leveling build. Once we get that than we switch to Dual Wielding.”
Hey, Deltia. I noticed on your 1-10 bar you have a bow skill and a two handed skill. Why is that? or how do you use it is a better question.
I noticed in 1-10 bar 2 different weapon skills:
Two-Handed (cleave) and a Dual wield skill (twin slashes).
Since you cannot switch weapons before level 15 I can’t see the logic of it unless those skills have a passive effect.
Is it an error or is there any kind of explanation?
Thanks in advance
It’s to get access to the skills once you unlock your second bar. Otherwise you’d have zero skills.
Hi Deltia,
Love your site, keep up the good work!
Just one remark and maybe I am seeing things, but did you put the wrong video in the post? This is the Khajit nigtblade video instead of the Templar build. Or am I doing something wrong?
Thanks alot
Hey Deltia. I know imperial is boss mode. But I really want to roll an orc. Are there any redeeming qualities to an orc stamplar? Or will I just be shooting myself in the foot?
With the upcoming orc racial buff in mind.
Which build gets more dps off. The new harvester or the omega templar build?
Is there any way for a new player to get some of the items he talks about crafting? I’m new to this game and I can’t seem to find anyway to get those items. no where to spend my gold. I would like to do things efficiently. Is there a guild to join a particular kiosk to look through, a player I can contact?
Is the Omega Templar or the Harvester better?
Thanks Deltia this build is the shiz-nit! And to address some confusion I see in the comments I wanted to say if you look at the skills he has posted on the skill bars 1-10 10-25 25-VR1 there are NO bow skills slotted and it clearly states to wait till end game to level it.
What stat attributes are you rolling?
How viable do you this particular build will be in PVP?
It’s not meant for PvP so I don’t know.
In pvp this build can be OP or terrible depending on who you are fighting. Despite dying quickly you can handle a 2v1 simply by killing the enemies in seconds. If the enemy is a nightblade vampire and they use fear abilities on you then you are pretty much dead instantly.
I updated the my old Harvester as close as possible to your new on my VR14 Templar and just tested with the Bow and hit an Air Atronach in Craglorn for over 31k DPS which was a one shot. Ill record it on Fraps this week for you. Thanks for everything
i’m doing this build right now, what glyphs should i use on the armor? also do i leave them at stamina or health?
hey deltia you always compare Templar to night blade but how does the dragon knight ‘bloody butcher’ or any stam build for DK compare? I’m having a really hard time just choosing what i want to play i really want to end up playing a stamina based character but i want to be just as efficient end game as people running magic builds, i have asked around and every time i ask about stam people just tell me stamina is trash =/ unless your NB and im not awfully keen on NB. I’m sorry for rambling i just want some clarity =/ by the way what you do is great you videos have help me a ton keep it up ^.^
The best damage is Templar stamina, NB is close but has cool abilities and speed, DK feels tanky.
Hello Deltia,
So I have changed from a Magika using Templar to this build and im finding it weak for some reason I am a Veteran 1 Dark Elf and I die very easily. I was wondering, what if I use a 2 handed weapon instead of duel wielding AND used Heavy armour instead of Medium? Would that be able to work with damage and survivability?
Hope you can respond ASAP! Thank you!
Hey Deltia thanks for all your hard work!! wondering if you have a build for new characters, one that doesn’t rely on crafted set gear and champion points. any help is much appreciated!
Hey Deltia,
Just made an imperial templar, but I’m curious whether or not rerolls to more magicka based builds or roles later on, i.e. pve healing, will be at a significant disadvantage because of the imperial race choice.
So… wat am i supposed to use wen im vet 14? 2h and dual wield, 2h and bow or bow and dual wield? Cuz i obviously cant use all 3
Dual Wield Bow at end game.
What vet level would you say is end game?
Deltia,do i need to respect my points if i follow this exact build
respec*
Hey deltia, into the VR’s on my Templar healer and im wondering if the wayrest sewers grind will still work for VR if I don’t set it as a veteran dungeon?
Thanks
any eta on when you will complete the end game part of this guide I’m approaching end game and I’m not sure what skills gear I should be using
Also, Del, which weapon and jewelry sets should i use end game? Ravager, or Vengeance Leech combined with Eagle eye?
With the upcoming nerf to Ravager in mind, how, if at all, would you adjust the priority skill of Quick Cloak with the Ravager timer?
Yes and I you can still use Razor Caltrops if you are Alliance War six.
And what skill use with the bow, i waiting for PVE final Build, 🙂
Poison Injection
Hey Deltia, in the Imperial City update, will Omega Templar still be a very good dps or will the Harvester beat it, and will you be using Valkyn Skoria set with this Harvester build?
Magicka ???? Health ?????? Stamina ?????
Here’s your answer,
Objective
The idea behind this build, race and combination of skills is to create a high damage Stamplar (stamina Templar)
Been waiting forever for the PvP build/set up. Any ball park time frame as to when you may finish it?
Cant wait to see the end game build! Keep up the awesome work Delt!
C’mon guys, he’s one man. It’s going to take time to level and test these builds. I too am checking in each day for progress updates, but I understand when there isn’t an one. It takes some time.
What happened to using bow at endgame with dual wield?
“Flying Dagger (morph of Hidden Blade | Dual Wield skill line) – A nasty range damage ability that comes with a Major Brutality buff in Update 7. This is how we get around NOT using the bow for double melee setup.”
If i wish to do both PvE and PvP, shud i go vamp? Its not gonna give me any disadvantages in PvE right?
Thank you for writing these great guides. If I may make a suggestion, could you please summarize your videos with text, unless that is what you are doing already. Also it would be helpful if you could write up where to put skill points and when, like a point for point while leveling. Thanks so much.
How would I summarize my video with text?
Your videos are well done; it’s just difficult for me to find the place in the video where you talk about certain skills, etc. Maybe take what you say in your videos and do a write up. Like I said before, it would help if you could write on what skill you bought with skill points and when, point by point break down. I’m one of those readers that like a detailed cookie cutter build summary. Anyway thank you for taking the time to read my comments. If you want to discuss further, I can give you my email in a private message.
Are the nerfs to damage shields in PvP that severe that radiant ward/blazing shield are useless in it?
Blazing is now 15% of health and I consider it worthless running low health pool.
Hi. I love what your doing with this build and I’ve been folosing step by step since your started building it. My question is I rolled a wood elf, is that still a viable race for this build? I know you said when you first started this build that wood elf was a race that could be used.
Yes
have you tried this build in IC deltias i have been hearing that stam builds are gonna get hurt after the patch will this still get you through vet dungeons ok
I believe ps4 is still on 1.6 so will this build still be effective? If not, could you link a build that would be?
@Xvethanvx – Deltia has mentioned multiple times in his recent builds (Stam Sorc, Stam Nightblade) that Stamina is going do dominate in IC. I believe that’s why he’s making all these stamina builds.
The problem with this build is that there isn’t much defense or self healing. I tried it out on a few vet 2 group delve bosses with my V14 imperial templar and got murdered over and over again.
Thanks for your input. I’m not a vet yet, but noticed as I was leveling, that doing this build, I was squishy. That could just be my noobness to this game. On the other hand, I have been doing great damage.
Deltia, today I actually noticed the link to the ESO skill factory webpage with your biting harvester build. Just to make sure, but is that up to date? I was looking at it and noticed you had bought executioner skill but thought with this latest update, in your video, that you did not take it. I may be misunderstanding the video though. But thank you for that link, just what I was looking for so that I could put points into the skills that you were talking about.
Hey Deltia,
I am usually afraid to go with little health, especially as looks like the Biting Harvester will be a lot in melee combat. So my my question, how does this work with all points in stamina? How much life do you have? Oh btw mine is a redguard.
Your biting harvester link to the ESO skill calculator webpage does not match what you have on this webpage. I’m assuming to just go with what you have here so far.
The championspoint chart istlnt really helpful, it shows how many points in which tree but not in which traits
You have to go to the championship point page. You then paste the url of this page into the text block that is provided on the championship point page.
Thx
On a scale of 1-10, how good/bad is a wood elf for this build? (Below 5 is bad, above 5 is good)
Hey man, idk how late this reply is, but I’m a wood elf and followed this build pretty closely. I use a bow instead of daggers, obviously, but the stam regeneration is good. I do really good damage, feel squishy at times, but my armor isn’t too great. I’m a Vet 5 and I don’t really struggle doing anything my level.
Hope I helped you out man, cause I wondered the same thing, and just said F it and rolled wood elf. I love it.
Hey Deltia, thanks for these awesome builds and taking all the time to test and rebuild for our benefit. Leveling/gear question: I wonder if adding the training trait to each weapon in dual wield will add up to twice ammount the xp, any thoughts?
Hey, sorry if i missed something, its possible as i didnt watch the actual videos just read the page and looked at skills, but you originally said leave the bow until end game, but i dont see a bow used in either you your end game builds? Im thinking about turning my V5 healer into a damage dealer so i can grind to V14, not sure if ill level faster that way
Hey Deltia, is bow obsolete in update 7 or inferior dps compared to DW/2h with the Hidden Blade buff?
Or will u be updating a build with DW/Bow?
Lastly, in regards to bow when is a good time for switching to DW/Bow from DW/2H?
Hi Deltia, last time I saw you play in pvp on twitch, you were running a 2H/bow setup. Could you post your pvp bow setup ?
Hey Deltia,
When will the Spector and the Harvester guide be completed?
Hey guys im afraid we may have lost Deltia in the Imperial City, time to organize a search and rescue party. Oh crap nevevermind, i only play on PS4 ?
Hey bud great site and build, I made a similar build but went with now, not sure if you have tried this combo, but the box arrow barrage/volley morph with bombard/ arrow spray morphed along with power of light, it is deadly. First do barrage, the bombard then hit then with power if light, boom… Anyway wanted to share, thanks as always for a great dite
Hey bud, you gonna finish this guide?
I had a few questions/thing that I am a bit confused on.
1) Once we are vet+, how should we set up our bow bar?
2) With ravagers getting nerfed, what should we use in place?
3) I made a dark elf to run with the shredder build, how gimp is that going to make me moving to this spec?
1) I decided against bow in Update 7 as Master weapons have been nerfed.
2) Ravager still is best in slot for Templars works just fine.
3) 4% gimped which isn’t that bad. I used my Dunmer for this build initially and it did fine.
It’s possible to solo high end PVE content (Craglorn, Dungeons etc) with this build? …or generally with stamina based builds?
Thanks in advance.
Thus build is rock solid. I deleted a ton to make an imperial templar. I can take on world bosses and public dungeons without issue. Typically mobs will die quickly, but for bosses you should be ready to use remembrance ult…I highly recommend this build.
Hey man, any chance this will be done before the patch drops for console players? You have a week left. Also, question on the champion points. You have two listings on this page, which one are we to follow. Please don’t put anything in writing if its not finished. Players don’t want to spend money respeccing, if they get confused by your guides. I’m thankful that you write them, but if i had the time to write guides, they would be cleaner, and more straight forward. You’re lucky that you’re really the only well known guide writer for builds. I don’t see too many other options.
The champion points are for PvE and PvP, take note of the section each of them are in. Also i wouldn’t speak for everyone with your opinion, i personally am thankful for these builds and would rather him post them earlier as a WIP than wait ages for it to be perfected. MMO’s are always changing and patches happen etc, its better that he explain the core mechanics and theory behind the build and just update the fluff around it as he goes.
I can agree with that as well. Just haven’t seen anything in a week. And you’re right it’s just an opinion.
Im really grateful about all the work that Deltia puts into these builds, I would rather wait and get a finished build than a half baked product. When the game came out on consoles I was tricked into buying a guide package from another site which was a total scam (they claimed constant updates but their last builds were over a year old). Deltia’s guides are the best, hands down. And to be fair, the update already came out on pc/mac and we, the console players, are lucky for having all this info beforehand.
If i use my high elf templar for this build how much will that affect it?
Another great build! I saw you said poison injection is good for a bow bar in the comments but what would u recommend for the whole bar for update 7? And would u be replacing the dual wield or 2h while using a bow? I’m sure you plan on adding this into the build eventually but just hoping if you could throw me some quick advise to get started with it. Thank you!
I would suggest looking a Deltia’s guide for the night blade setup for a bow. There are 1 or 2 abilities that are NB specific but mostly it is using bow. For this build…the way it is set you would want to lose the 2h because of rally…but that is just my opinion
Wouldn’t want to loose the 2h I meant to say
Pretty sure he updated this saying he doesn’t use bow at all because the legendary masters bow are getting nerfd
Loving this build so far. So a question about level 15 when you switch to a 2 hander on one bar and dual wield on the other. Are you constantly swapping back and forth or are you mainly just using dual wield for AoE and 2H for single target?
Swapping, applying buffs and swapping to attack.
Is the biting harvester end game build viable at v1 or are you giving up key abilities too early?
Hi Deltia, in one post above you said you decided against bow, but there are bosses in the game where it is really hard to fight close, like e.g. endboss fungal grotto, vet gold. How do you fight in that case?
One questiin is ravager still the best gear to use with the 1.7 nerf? Or what would you reccomend to use at vr16?
Hi,
I was wondering if a gear item split of:
4 pieces of Ashen Grip and
4 pieces of Night’s Silence
might just work as well?
Reason? Night’s Silence is much easier to craft early and the boosts are almost the same in this split.
Thanx in advance.
As well? No but something you could use if looking for a craftable gear source.
I fell like there are other classes that may benefit from this build especially from the imperial dlc. Wood elf, orc and khajiit and of course imperial. Any input or would reguard still trump those?
Sorry I meant races.
What gear do I use for pvp? Nothing is posted for gear on the end game PvP build.
Hi Deltia loving the build, currently lvl 42 with 2 morphs to go. looking at the end game pve build i have a few questions. are the passives just an accumaltion eg Prism and Enduring Rays but no Dawns Wrath equipped. and would it not be better to have the heavy armour in the chest and legs slot to provide more armour.
Isn’t the Evil hunter skill redundant when using biting jabs. Buying jabs grants savagery as well does it not? Or is it just for the other skills.
It procs extra damage is why you use it.
Hey Deltia, I just started playing ESO and I love it. I’m using your guides and they are awesome. Just wondering can you or are you making a tanking Templar build? Thanks
Deltia,Not sure why my comment was deleted. I’ve spent some time reading these comments and there is a few other people that are asking for a Templar tank. Are you working on a build or do you not recommend using Templar to tank? Thanks again, these guides have made my beginning ESO experience awesome.
First off thank you! This guide made me buy ESO 4 days ago and I’m absolutely loving the game, the story, and most of all this build! I do have a question though, are you still planning on doing more information in the PVP section and a video for the pvp end game section? As my Imp is going to be PVP only and I’m going to roll a Redguard for PVE cause i love this guide so much! Thank you again kind sir!
Would it be “terrible” if I went heavy armor instead of Medium?
I had the same question, but in general: magica dps: light, stam dps: medium, tank: heavy. Now my experience, I prefer medium, I leveled up wearing 4-5 med pieces 1-2 heavies and 0-1 light. After maxing out medium armor i switched to 5 heavies and 2 light and man i look awesome, but my damage and battle sustainability dropped big time, hard to kill stuff and run out of stamina very quick. Hope that helps.
Just for leveling up that is pretty okay, but personally I prefer leveling up in the main armor you need then just level up the other armor skills in 1-2 pieces.
Well I hoped at least haha. Cheers for the answer friend, I will just roll a DK Tank or something to get my heavy armor!
I pulled
Wouldn’t the orc be a good build with orc extra dps passive
Yes it will work, but you have to look at imperial in which you get more stamina and melee attacks restore health and also redguard which gets more stamina, stam regen and attacks have a chance to restore stamina.
I don’t have imperial but I no a guy that has a orc he is a beast another question I put 31 champion points on might and noticed my character not receiving my any of my champion points that I put on is that part of the new update
I dont want to craft the hundings rage and ravagers.
What’s the best set i should be buying or picking up.
If I don’t want to craft hundings rage and ravagers set.
What should I be using as a replacement set
Hey deltias. great build, I absolutely love every bit of this build. From pve dps down to smashing just about everyone in PvP, and I’m only vet7. Can’t wait to see what this build can do at vet 16. My question is with this being a stam build, would Jesus beams be comepletely useless or is there somewhere to replace a skill with beams? Again great build and the k you for sharing all of this with us.
And should I be going for food or drinks in PvP?
It’s useless because your damage comes from max stam/weapon power. If you want an execute use Executioner.
Does this build work well for pvp? I wanna do both pve and pvp. Seems like a pve centric build but I would love to do some pvp with it
There’s different versions, one for PvP and one for PvP. Scroll down for PvP one.
Is Nord viable for this build, primarily because I don’t want to re roll if unnecessary
Reroll honestly
Thank you for everything you do for the ESOTU community. I am leveling a Harvester Stamplar & loving it.
Hello Deltia thx a lot for your great work.
Have a lot questions: what better for newby magicka or stamina, what easier and survivable?
How to survive at stamina templar without rally and vigor? Play redguard templar at magicka, when I saw your guid I do respec, but now I cant do delves, kill champions and more than 3 mobs even lower lvl than me, die 4-5 times faster. Can you give some advise how to lvl faster to rally or switch on stamina when I lvl 2h via magicka build?
For a new player, def magicka because of self healing. It’s a pain in the ass trying to survive without those two things but you can do it with Blazing Shield and Repentance. Use breath of life until you get the higher abilities.
I didn’t start using this build on my templar until about level 10. Will I be able to get caught up with the skills I need or do I need to start over with a fresh character?
Just catch up no need to start over unless you picked a poor race choice.
so why the change from having evil hunter slotted twice and the new dw skill?
Jabs gets you the crit bonus with one of the aedric passives
Did you watch the video? I explain it.
Hey Delts,
What do u find more fun to play, stam templar or stam sorc? I’m stuck on what to lvl next to VR16.
Thanks
PvE stamina Templar, PvP stamina Sorc.
How well does your stam sorc build work in pve?
very survivable and does a lot of damage!
Hi, the Championpoints Link in Endgame PvE is just a graphic, not the builder. You can’t switch in between. Just thought you wanted to know.
Deltia, how are you getting health on this build? Is this build an imperial? I have a wood elf templar (since beta!) and I wanted to turn her to stamplar but when I throw everything into stamina with the gear you have she’s really low health even with blue food about 16K health. How are you doing it?
Also agree with Lionnel, we can’t see the CP layout because it’s just a jpg and does not link to the builder.
Well imperials have a 10% health bonus so that by itself gives a fair amount of health. Two good alternatives is putting 10 points into health and the rest into stam and/or but health glyphs on the major pieces (head/chest/legs). Also undaunted mettle gives health/magicka/stam boosts per armor type you have.
Hey Deltia, I’ll start by saying, you’ve helped my gameplay a lot from all of your articles, love the site. I was wondering something in particular with this build; as a newer player how hard would it be to make an Orc work with this build? At endgame would I be able to hold a candle to a red guard or wood elf? I really wanna make Orc work.
Orc would work better than Wood Elf. Redguard would be optimal.
It seems you can’t click the endgame PVP build to bring it up.
The PvP skills link isn’t working.
Thanks for the builds and great work Deltia.
Hey deltia, one setup-question:
did you try to replace one piece of nightmother with molag kenas shoulders? Loosing about 5% crit on the DW bar VS gaining 130 weapon damage sounds pretty good for me…
Hey if it works for you do it, though I love crit.
Are you gonna do any Templa Tank????? please?
*Templar
No plans, it’s very similar to every other tank. Taunt, block, put your focus down and stand in it.
Hello, i am very new to game (just finished making character) how many points should i have in magicka, health and stamina? cant seem to see anyway that says, just dont want to spend points in the wrong bit incase you can not change them later on. Thanks!
sorry also, should i wear medium or heavy armor while leveling?
No medium
You can try 5 medium and one heavy, one light so they level up just in case you want a different build in the future
All into stamina
Hey deltia,
I have just decided to make a new templar character to mimic (or at least as a baseline) your battery build. However, I already have a VR3 Templar set up as a healer. Would it be a smart idea to switch that over to this build? Reason for this could be that I have dawnbreaker and comet already unlocked on my VR3 one. And what would be the easiest way to lvl dual wield and 2h. Sorry for the long post, just want to know what you would do.
Well if you’re leveling I recommend doing all DPS. So yes, if you’re looking to level faster to end game.
Alright man, as for leveling the quickest way possible for dual wield and 2h, just run the Old Orsinium loop and you’ll fly through those levels. I did that for VR 10-16 and got it in like 3 or 4 days playing about 4 or 5 hours per day. That’s if you have the time and haven’t hit VR 16 yet.
Gotta love Steve Jabs. Using your guild Detlai, i got to vr1 in no time. But just wondering what to do next, still have dual wield and two hander slotted. What do you recommend on the bow? I am really like my setup at present
I really don’t use the bow often, but if you’re going to Focus Aim as your spammable ability for sure.
Hey Deltia, i cant help but notice in the misc sections of the article that redguards are number 1 over imperials for this build. Because i am confused from you ealier comments on imperials being op for this build?
Razor Caltrops was nerfed not procing the heal over time, thus making Redguards a better choice for resource management.
Is there no bow in late PVE, or have i misread this hole thing?
btw as a new player i love your videos!
Yeah I don’t use bow, double melee all the way.
Hey Deltia, im a little confused right now because i cant help but notice that in the misc section of this awesome build, redguards are number 1 over imperials? Because i thought you said in previous comments that inperials were op for this build? Sorry for being so weird lol
Oops haha sorry though my old comment was not able to send
Deltia, Can you make a Templar tank build please?
Hey Deltia, how would a khajiit stand to this build, i have a VR16 khajiit templar and he does alright, but was wondering if he would work, or should i reroll imperial
Also wondering this, been watching lots of your videos and loving your builds. I also have vt 8 khajiit templar and don’t mind re-rolling but to which build?
Khajiit works great, stay with it.
Sorry my English is not good.
Here is way too much.
Here is no order.
Please create page NEW !
Redguard,Attributes – all stamina ???
Yes
Hi Deltia I have a question. In the 1-10 bar there’s a ability of dual wield, how can you use it?
I do not understand.
The guide explains its for leveling purposes only.
how can you use a dual skill of wilde bar 1-10? if up to level 15 you can not swap?
asd
Hey deltia!
Just a quick question, what will be most fun to play and have the most easy time to lvl up for a new player. Omega templar or templar harvester? And what race would you pick?
Fun Harvester due to speed and damage
Easy Omega for self healing
If you wanna try both out, go Dunmer (max mag/stamina). Or for sure magicka would be High Elf or for sure stamina Redguard.
Okay thanks, is it okay to pick imperial for harvester aswell?
And one last thing, omega templar is the lvling skills still the same or would you pick something else for lvling? sorry for all my questions.
Yes I love my Imperial
What is a good leveling medium armor gear set?
Night Silence
Great job on this guide Delita, I actually love your videos because you made them very informative on why solution A/B is better then C/D so on, and most importantly you always do it in a way where you talk to your audience with respect not a debased “I’m the best, listen to me or be a n00b” way – well played, well made!
So where is the magika based updated guide for the “exact” same build 🙂
So where is the magika based updated guide for the “exact” same build 🙂
Alright, so do you still recommend vamp for the harvester build when running pvp? I’m a dunmer with 60 or so points in elemental defender. Also is 4 piece night mothers and 5 hundings with ravanger jewelry (working on getting agility) a good set up? I mainly run dual wield and bow but have everything necessary for 2h and bow too. So which would you recommend for pvp again?
After reading through several comment sections on various builds, I just want to say thank you for your patience on answering numerous questions that are already answered (usually 2-3 times) in the written out build/videos….. That’s why I like your site. Just a good guy doing what he likes
Thanks for your nice comment that means a lot.
Hey Deltia, great build brother! BTW, not sure if it’s a glitch or not, but when I’m running The Warrior Mundus my crit is 70.2 but when I switch to the Shadow, it remains the same… PS4. Any thoughts?
Warrior is weapon damage not critical, so that’s why it remains the same.
Right, I thought switching to the Shadow would increase the crit. rating. But on closer examination the Shadow increases Critical Damage… Ahhhhh I see… said the blind man… Thanks for your work and your time!
First, thank you for taking the time to post such detailed information and for answering questions. As a new player, your website is a treasure trove of information.
Second, as I mentioned, I’m a new player and I’m trying to wrap my head around mechanics (as I play) and your weapon and gear choices. A few comments back, you mentioned that this guide uses double melee in PvE and a bow only for PvP. However, I noticed that the Blazing Harvester used DW on bar 1 and a bow on bar 2 in PvE. I know it’s an older build, so has your opinion on bow usage changed since then?
Third, I saw that on the 2H bar for level 10-25, you suggest Critical Rush (for gap closing), but then for 25-VR1, you replaced Crit Rush with Toppling Charge. I’ve read that Toppling Charge is not always effective. What do you think?
Fourth (and last), I’ve read that the HoT buff from Rally will still proc even if switching to DW. Is this true?
Thanks again. Sorry for bombarding you, but I appreciate any help you can give.
Bow just doesn’t do the damage that it use to in prior patches so that’s why I switched it out. Truthfully, I’m always changing my builds and weapons to try to find the maximum potential and some weapons preform better in certain instances say trials, pvp, pve, dungeons, etc.
Toppling Charge on a stamina build will give you the passive from Aedric spear, but it hits very weak and bugs out a lot of the time leaving you stuck in the charge animation.
Yes, Rally heal stays on regardless of the bar you’re on.
You’re not bothering me, the comments is for useful information feel free to ask questions.
Thanks for the help! At what level do you typically begin crafting?
I never post on these kind of things, but I have to because ever since I started playing ESO, this is the only website I go to when I want try to try builds. Thank you so much for taking the time, having the patience and dedication for these builds. You also make my game experience a lot better. Finally, I want to congratulate about becoming a future father, and I also hope your health improves 🙂
Thanks very much, that means the world to hear that feedback.
So I notice in the 10-25 build there’s skills that I don’t have access to, or even come close to having access to (example: the morph to Blade Cloak)
When you say to switch to dual wield immediately, am I still using the same skills I’ve been using until I unlock those skills and respective morphs?
Yes, keep those skills on your bar until you get it morphed. The images at lower levels have the morphs on there so you know what to take when you can get it morphed.
Hey deltia i’m just wondering wich mundus stone should I use currently I dont have any best in slott gear so my crit rating isn’t that high so I started using the thief instead of the shadow and currently my crit rating is at 82% and my weapon damge at 3400 buffed, and would you recomend using rearming trap beast ability wich gives 12% increase crit damaged. Thanks alot deltia for what your doing I really appreciate it.
Yes to both, Thief is great Mundus for DPS regardless of the build, and if you can fit trap beast on for specific fights, it’s great.
The link to champion points does not work in end game pve. Would like to know what to place where…. Please fix.
Why was my comment deleted?
The link to show champion points in the end game pve does not work, like to know where to put champion points in
I didn’t delete, takes a minute for new people’s comments to show up. I’m trying to reproduce the Champion Points. Here’s a good setup https://deltiasgaming.com/champion/?b=000000000000000050430014520000000000550000000000000000006400140000002f00
What is the Skills and Passives in End Game PvP Build?
Weird I screwed that up, here’s the link and I updated page http://eso-skills.com/skill?z=7lc7hk5@D7DIOGb%MSc_6f@D9wknI8&p=929292829272926221812171216221512142056205520572058205924062405240724252426242721113112211321142115232523262906290729082909202920282027202620252306330735733572357136023&a=000064&c=Deltia&b=Harvester_PvP&j=t&q=070&w=52&m=0
The PvP skills link isn’t working.
Hey, Deltia. What 2H weapon do you prefer, sword or maul?
Maul I like for both PvE/PvP.
The PvP skills link isn’t working.. Please fix
I updated it, should work now.
Is this build gd for high elf as well
Not as good as Imperial.
Deltia,
First off, thank you so much for all you do. Your website and youtube videos are immensely helpful.
One question about the armor sets. Are there locations that drop these items? I am not yet to the point to where I can craft Hunding equipment.
Thanks in advance!
Daggerfall or Aldmeri
You can find them in my crafting section, they’re at specific locations on the map depending on your faction.
For drop locations?
Can The Burning light passive crit? and if so how does it work. does it switch based on your spell damage or weapon damage?
Yes, whatever is higher.
Hi boss ^^
It’s possible to finish the arena with stamplar if I haven’t maelstrom bow and maesltrom maul?
Thanks you.
Hi Deltia would you ever consider doing Magicka/ stamina Templar build having best of both to be more versatile in the skill trees and calling something like soul crusher due to magic and dps
I don’t understand what you mean, if you’re talking about a Hybrid build, no. It doesn’t work very well with the scaling of damage though you can survive a lot.
Where has my comment gone
Hey Deltia,
I have exactly the same skills, weapons and gear as your Maelstrom build while doing VMA. I find it disturbing that I have a full magicka pool, yet I have no skills or ways to spend it. Sometimes Im out of stamina and just look at my magicka lol. Any recommendations?
It is possible to finish the arena with stamplar if I haven’t maelstrom bow and maesltrom maul?
Thanks you.
Oh yeah, I did the first time 🙂
Sorry I failed to mention a tank for PvE or trials and such, those heavy Templar tank, but I do understand it’s not better than the DK tank t7….. But I just want to be efficient with some healing…. Sorry for the double post…
Hey Deltia,
How do I spend magicka in the Maelstrom build? Do you really do the whole arena without using any magicka? Feels like a waste of a full resource pool.
I sometimes use Blazing Shield but Templars lack a good magicka dump worth casting.
Hey Deltia, I recently leveled a stamplar to potentially take over as my main, switching from stam NB. I feel very underwhelmed with my resource management in single target boss fights. Any thoughts on how you overcome this besides potions?
In terms of resource management, you are underwhelmed in comparison to NB. Your only saving grace is bodies with repentance, other than that, the NB is superior right now in almost every aspect.
Well there goes 30 hours of grinding haha. Thanks. Would you say it is easier to do vet maelstrom on nb or stamplar
Got the same Problem. Used engine Guardian – free corpse for repantance – to solve this shit in pve.
I have a vet 6 Imperial Templar… was doing full Magic and stayed alive, dps was underwhelming compared to this build… but at least I could kill vet 5 world bosses without dying. Now I am trying this build, insane dps, but dying. Not sure if I need to go back to magic? I am an Imperial, so this build seems attractive
That’s the problem with stamplar, you don’t have the survivability like you do with magic do to Puncturing Sweeps over Biting Jabs. Magic will be much better in next patch, depends on what you like.
thank you. I will give it a few dungeons to see if I need to go back. I love your Umbra build for my other character Breton NB.
Does your maelstrom build work for other end game PvE content or is it more of a niche build specifically for vet maelstrom?
It works, but not as good as PURE DPS or what not.
Deltia,
I have been following this build you have created for my build, and I have to say it’s working exceptionally well. In your video i noticed your using dual wield and two handed. but in the build information you state 2h and bow for endgame…I’m VR10, what should I be using?
DW end game is vr16.
So I should be using bow/2h right now? I’m level 1 dw.
I’m confused about something. On the skill bars above, I’m seeing skills for both duel wield AND two hand on the same bar. How can two different weapon skills be on the same bar at the same time?
I explain in the video, it’s to level up skills lines together.
Hey Deltia are you suggesting that for end game we go dual wield and bow? If so, I dont seem to find that combination on your guide, theres 2h/bow and 2h/DW but I cant see any DW/Bow :/ Im coming back after almost 9 months and got the skills wiped out so Im really looking for a good guide, I used to play bow/1h and shield, so going dual and 2h will require to start from scratch on that departament, really looking forward for a DW/bow skills explanation there D:
DW Bow is great for PvE Dungeons where you don’t have to rely on yourself for healing. Something like Maelstrom where you do, 2H is optimal.
I’m mostly a PvE guy, I was going to try Maelstrom but then I read that the best AoE attack was from dual wield, so decided to go DW/Bow but again no skills explanation on the guide. Im getting my ass kicked right now trying to lvl up dualwield from lvl 6, It was so low.
With Thieves Guild coming out does this hurt this build? I have been working on a toon with this build in spare time. At level 35 and hoping I don’t need to scrap and start DK Magic toon instead.
It hurts steel tornado only, but our self heals will be stronger.
Hey Deltia I’m really having fun with this but I’m wondering at what point into VR levels can I switch over to the final pve build? I’m almost VR 2 and I don’t feel like Blazing Shield and Power of the Light are doing that much for me.
I agree with you. The shield feels too weak now when im fighting bosses. I am personally thinking about going with a quick heal or try a different defensive skill in place of it in case i get in a bind.
hi deltia
im a vr3 templar tank kind of tired of it. so what i would like to know is witch is better for templar dps magica or stamina. im also imperial and a vampire.
Magic is great in next patch.
I know that magicka templars are getting a buff in TG, but just how much better will they be compared to stamplars? Any idea on their DPS numbers in end game dungeons?
Separate question, if I wanted to use 2H as my front bar on a stamina templars for PvE dungeons (I know you recommend DW/bow), what would you recommend for my back bar? Bow for ranged, DW for AoE?
Significantly better in PvE. I’m doing near 30k single target.
Bow for Sorched Earth with maelstrom bow and caltrops.
Deltia, should I change the enchants on my rings of agility from stamina regeneration to weapon damage?
Depends, are you having stamina trouble?
Whats up Deltas man been a big fan for a while…ive taken some time off ESO and am just getting back into the game. As far as the 2 DLCS go, would you recommend stam or magika templar for overall dps?
Depends on context, magplar is the DPS meta in 2.3 Thieves guild.
Is my build good?
PvE
-Dw(Main)
Jabs, Flying dagger, Vigor, Repentance, Rune/blaz.shield.
Flawless Dawn(Ult).
-Bow
Razor caltrops, Poison injection, Focused Aim, Purifying ritual, Camp hunter.
Shooting star(Ult)
PvP
-DW
Rune/Blz shield is replaced to Steel turnado.
Some times Flying D to Quick cloak.
-Bow
Camp huntervis replaced to Rapid maneuver.
I will be using gear and food from your build
Could this build work with heavy armor too?
Technically yes. But the reason for using medium armor is the passive skills that give you more crit, more stamina regen, etc. If you’re concerned about survivability I can tell you that I’m using this build at level VR4 and doing fine with medium armor. The only content I have trouble soloing is world bosses and dolmens. And those are supposed to be group encounters anyway.
I have been looking for a Templar tank build since I started playing. I put this build together tonight, from what I’ve learned playing for the past 6 months. Just wanted to get your opinion on it. Thanks again!!!
http://esoacademy.com/builds/mage-tank/
Thanks
hi deltia
im vr3 with heavy armor mostly
right know i have on my first bar with one handed and shield
piercing armor, shielded assault, absorb magic, puncturing sweep, blazing spear and for ultimate devouring swarm
bar 2 bow
venom arrow, darning shot, radiant oppression, breath of life, repentance and for ultimate solar disturbances
any changes I need to do except for shielded assault for there i think reverberating bash is better right ?
Hey deltia did they kill templar stamina dps pve builds? Casue now i die so fast and my stamina dies so fast, hmm might have to make the jump to magplar and thanks for all ur builds
Nope, I’ll be updating tomorrow, pulled 27k single target on Bloodspawn.
Thanks for the updated build. I have two quick questions for you:
Why did you switch from daggers to hammers?
What would you recommend running if someone doesn’t have a Maelstrom Bow?
Awesome gonna try this now thanks again.
Hi deltia
Do you have a pvp version of the thieves guild harvester. Or do i only have to switch some abilitys(from the pve version).
I still use the old PvP version with Bats and it works fine.
Hey Deltia
Im trying to make the switch from a magicka Templar to Stamina. I want to do a sword and board and bow Imperial Templar. Any suggestions on the best way to go about this. Thank you.
Why sword and shield?
I just like the sword and shield line. Its got a gap closer and a reflect skill as well. but do not know how well this skill line compares to dual wield or two hand. I just always like sword and shield.
Thieves Guild Updated ESO 2.3 build is PvE or PvP? If its PvP which one of your builds is sta PvE build for 2.3?
Thank you
Also if i don’t have Molag Head whats a good alternative? For jewels is it better to go for endurance set if agility costs a lot, or go with another set?
Thanks
Is Thieves Guild UPDATED ESO 2.3 build PvE or PvP? If its PvP whats the Stamina PvE build you suggest?
If i dont have Molag Head what a good alternative? Same with agility jewels. If they cost too much you think is it better go for endurance ones or for a different set?
Thank you
Right now I’m a healer, but might re-spec because of the XP boost this week.
Is this guild good for grinding? Running Old Orsinium, would this build be good for that?
Thank you Deltia for putting this build together. So much fun!! Yes this harvester build is damn powerful. At level 20 I went up against 2 level 42 grizzlies and easily smoked them…and um…an innocent deer.

I wanted to give a big thanks to you Deltia for your time and effort in putting this build together. Maybe it’s no big deal but I wanted to show you how your build has allowed me to take on 2 level 42 grizzlies as a level 20 stamplar. I reference your site for every character I have and you have made a huge difference in my eso gaming. Thank you again!

Thanks Lee
Hey delta first off I want to say thanks for all your hard work on these guides.
My question is what’s the difference between the maelstrom build and the end game pve build? Is one meant for just “world enemies” and the other for dungeons?
Maelstrom is solo, you need more healing. PvE, e.g. dungeons you have a pocket healer and can focus 100% on DPS.
Hey Deltia. Just curious but did you actually enter your info into Asayre’s spreadsheet or did you go off of his base numbers?
I went off of base numbers.
Might want to check them. I think it is set up for a DK not a templar. Base numbers are 50% elemental damage 57% physical damage. If you break down the physical damage 93% of the physical damage is dot damage and none of it is non dot. Our numbers are going to be drastically different than the ones you posted.
Okay thanks for tip, I’ll look now.
How do you change the class on the spreadsheet?
You don’t change class. Go to the stamina spreadsheet then input your CHC and CHD on the top left. Ratios on the bottom left. Directions are listed there. Let me know if you have any questions.
Did you get it figured out?
I’ve tried to use the spreadsheet, but im not sure that i used it the right way.. So if anybody could post the “right” Numbers for the harvester build, i would be happy 🙂
What’s the best race choice for stamplar now in thieves guild, or does the choices above remain the same?
Same, redguard and Imperial.
I stamplar use some stuff fron your guides but find two handed and bow work perfect in end game im a kahjit passives work well too
Sorry if this is a dumb question, but what’s the point of getting rally if you’re switching to DW? Doesn’t Rally require 2H?
You’ll use it later.
Is there a skill calculator that is mobile friendly… ESO skills is not
Deltia when would you recommend going into vet maelstrom? Like what prerequisites would you advise before attempting it? For example, how many champion points should you have before you attempt it?
Depends on the player, people have beaten VMA with zero CP.
So in your thieves guild video you said a lot of CP in thaumaturge and on this site your saying mighty. So im confused what is what??
Because I haven’t updated it since the changes made.
So if i can ask a “stupid” question, because im not the best at the CP system yet i didn’t get what were the best atm. Mighty or Thaumaturge??
Btw i love your website and have been helping me a lot with my eso experience 😀
I’ve tried putting CP into thaumaturge compared to mighty, and I found that mighty is the right way to go if you want to make your jabs hit harder (because they deal physical damage). I think maybe both of thaumaturge and mighty will improve damage, because jabs is technically physical damage and DoT…
A little confused about the thieves guild update compared to the previous pve / pvp build. This may have been asked already, but just wanted to clear up if that 2.3 update was meant to be PVE and if going PVP should still refer to the previous build. Also, running an imperial, wondering if I’d have any issues respeccing into a magplar? I’ve heard the race isn’t as important as people think, just curious about your thoughts on that.
The previous version, batnado jab plar. I’ll update the pvp version soon.
Hi man, I’ve been following this build a while now. Are you giving it any updates out of the the DB patch?
Yep updating various builds throughout the week.
This may be a stupid question, im a newb to ESO.
So im supposed to switch to DW at 15, did that. As far as the skills on my pri/alt bars which bar is 2h and which is dw? Cause I cant use executioner while dual wielding and I cant use dual wield skills with 2h.
Or are they just their for exp purposes? Im a little confused
It’s on the bar for leveling purposes like stated in video.
The skills you have on your bar are what will be leveling and what ever weapon is equipped will also gain xp. So he just has different skills on the bar so they gain xp..
Do you still use Ice Comet instead of Shooting Star? If so, why?
No, the initial hit is more damage but the added ultimate off the initial hit allows you to use the ultimate more frequently, thus more DPS in the long run.
Thanks for the quick reply. Will you be updating this soon for Dark Brotherhood?
Done now
Yes..pls update this great build for the dark brotherhood patch.. looking forward to see it soon 🙂
Updated, PvE version.
Have you tested the Vicious Ophidian with TBS?
Or maybe Infallible Aether with TBS. Especially with the extra damage to bosses.
Yes it’s great, just haven’t updated build.
Let us know when you do, I’m still working out my setup. I went with prismatic enchantment, but still having trouble on vMA.
I just came back to ESO not played since launch only been to level 13, I was looking at this build looks like a ton of fun, is this still good currently? I dont know what patch we are on something like v2.5.10, Also wondering how good is this for competitive pve dps numbers in group content?
Is this still a viable build? It’s been a couple of years since I played, just now returning. It doesn’t have to be “the best” or anything, but it was a fun build to play for soloing and tanking easier dungeons with friends. Will it still work or has too much changed?
Yeah it works for leveling and solo. I still use the PvP version with success.
Bars 1-10 and 10-25 why have you put 2 ultimate abilities on the bars?
