The Sims has been a part of the gaming zeitgeist for nearly a quarter of a century. The franchise offers players a ton of creative freedom. EA releases DLCs regularly, and there’s a plethora of mods for players to experiment with.

If you play The Sims 4, do spice up your gameplay using mods. The Extreme Violence mod by SacrificialMods is an excellent option.

What is The Sims 4 Extreme Violence Mod?

The Sims 4 Extreme Violence mod, as the name suggests, allows you to indulge in your Grand Theft Auto-esque fantasies. Your Sims can go on a murderous rampage. They can use weapons and pick fights with other Sims to create unlimited chaos.

As the Sims brawl with each other, they will gain notoriety via the mod’s “Reputation” system (much like the real world). A higher Reputation garners more fear from other Sims.

How to Download The Sims 4 Extreme Violence Mod

How to Use the Extreme Violence Mod

With the mod installed, you go about your interactions with Sims as you usually would but with an extra option: Extreme Violence. When you select this option, you are presented with several choices. These include Deadly Interactions, Non-Deadly Interactions, Gangs, Non-Violent Interactions, and an option to affect Reputation.

The Deadly Interactions allow you to indulge in violence and kill the Sim you select. The Non-Deadly Interactions allow you to beat up and pick on any Sim you choose. The Non-Violent Interactions allow you to extort money, steal, and indulge in other (relatively) non-violent crimes. The Gangs option allows you to recruit or kick the selected Sim from your gang as you please.

Should You Use the Mod?

All in all, we recommend using The Sims 4 Extreme Violence mod as it adds a fresh twist to the game. While it offers little in terms of replayability, the mod offers a great change of pace.
